Summary:
As Dick and Babs patrol Blüdhaven, a stopped robbery uncovers a dangerous conspiracy.
Dick leaps over the couch sitting in between them and grabs Babs laptop.
“I was still using that.” Babs objects, crossing her arms.
“I’m just checking something.” Dick starts pulling up information on the class action lawsuit against Steel Security Solution. “Something's not adding up.”
He looks through the evidence for the case, Steel Security is fighting hard, but he’s looking for one thing in particular.
“They have one of the security panels being held as evidence.” Dick states. “So experts on both sides can test it. But the prosecution has been stalling, claiming trouble finding an ‘unbiased expert’. Wonder why…”
“You think we’ll find another signal blocker if we take a look at it?” Babs asks.
Dick sets the laptop down on the coffee table. “Yeah I do. Up for a little B and E in the court house records room?”
“You got yourself a date boy wonder.” Babs jokes, standing up with a stretch.
