DIDERS. Punk rock from Beijing, China. Young, fiesty, no bullshit. Hooks for days. Not much online, two scuzzy tracks recorded on an iphone if you dig for it. A Sound Stage session. Got some crisp recordings. You'll love it. After I filmed and recorded them in their practice space, they played a last minute show at School Bar. I love these kids.
Wang Xiu. Drummer of WHITE+ and The Gar. Beijing. We met in their practice space, which was the same I had been to earlier with Hedgehog and Carsick Cars. He saw CHINESE STARS and Battles when they toured and went to SXSW. Randomly met the infamous "little punk" later that night, who my friend from Montana said I should meet. Will will meet up again. Tonight, I film a DIDERS practice, and see Casino Demon.
