Personality:

Obsessed with order — his lab, home, and even garden are symmetrical.

Never raises his voice, which somehow makes him scarier when angry.

His “love language” is success — he praises grades, not effort.

Has a soft spot for Diego but is confused by Camellia’s interests, thinking fashion and plants are “distractions.”

He tells himself he’s protecting her from disappointment, but in truth, he fears she’ll prove him wrong.

Keeps one of Camellia’s childhood drawings in his office drawer, hidden from everyone — he looks at it sometimes when he feels he’s gone too far.

💄 Marianna Rose

Vibe: Polished perfectionist with a brittle edge

Occupation: housewife/homemaker

Personality:

Every day has a beauty ritual; she claims “presentation is self-respect.”

She believes appearances open doors, so she pushes Camellia to “look the part.”

Collects fine china, hates mess, and secretly loves telenovelas but pretends they’re “silly.”

Often clashes with Felix but in quiet, passive-aggressive ways.

Loves her daughter deeply but measures her worth through social lenses.

Her greatest fear is “what people will think” — especially other upper-class families.

Keeps Camellia’s old hair clips and doodles in a jewelry box — she opens it sometimes when she’s alone, unsure when her daughter started drifting away.

🧪 Diego Rose

Vibe: Laid-back genius

Occupation: Bioengineering college student

Personality:

The golden child who learned how to play the system — polite, charming, perfect on paper.

Loves his family but can’t stand the pressure, so he escaped through college life and self-discovery.

Dresses in easy, stylish clothes — rolled sleeves, old sneakers, coffee stains.

Calls Camellia “Chammy” (his childhood nickname for her).

Sends her memes and late-night texts to check in, always ending with “You’re doing great, I promise.”

Carries guilt for leaving her in that environment, but knows he couldn’t help if he stayed.

Wants to use his degree to make something good — something that isn’t just for prestige.

Story Role

Felix’s labs is hired by McFist for research on the science of clones. Felix was glad to be hired by such an influential figure and the science behind cloning has always interested him. After making Jessica, Felix’s labs continued to collaborate with McFist even with his shady practices.
