one thousand years later i have finally gotten back to listening thru the protean city backlog and im kinda sad to not be livetweeting anymore but i cant not shoutout the falcon down event. absolutely bonkers series of sucker punch episodes. really impressive balance of horrible gut-clenching tense inter-character moments and also huge comic book fights that feel like they have real stakes. some very cool, very scary custom mechanics for the falcon villains. awesome fucked up clone stuff going on. fucked up memory manipulation stuff too im cheering and leaping into the air, love to watch the train wreck that is puck blowing through his doom track at bullet train speeds. an onscreen young hero death!! the girls fighting!! frequency being torn between his family and his team and also being Theee face of the mutant revolution! the lil extra spice of sage's hexworm stuff resurfacing at a reeeeally inopportune time! kalino's edgy costume change and all the related identity confusion! and yall Know i love fucked up nanobots!. oh god and alina's dad reveal!! jam fucking packed arc. i legitimately teared up a couple times, peak teen superhero shit, made me want to play masks again soo insanely bad, thanks gang!
