Drawn Sept 25 2024 (vs at latest may 2018) Originals were done on my phone so it wasn't exactly up to par with my usual stuff at the time (colours were off, and I just had trouble drawing the shapes, and used a stabilizer iirc) but I thought I could try 'em again.

As you can see, neither character's changed much design-wise. I've changed details of Diera's (red hair) face a few times but nothing really stuck 'til now, and she became more red in 2020, I wanna say? She always had the bangs but I used to struggle with them and apparently didn't draw them in this 2018 one. Liliam's (blue hair) outfit changed colours a little bit. She used to always have a black shirt, although I think she more often had gray pants (or at least that's what she had in-game when I first made her) since her outfit was ripped from nepeta leijon. her hair got more cyan, longer, and less straight, and her eyes match her hair now mostly in 2022 But overall these are relatively minor, most interesting is their faces ig. I've never really changed my characters when redesigning them that much, and while I've retroactively added meaning to character design choices (ie. Liliam being a scientist was an idea I first had in 2019 and didn't even stick til 2022, but that's when I made that coat thing into her "lab coat" and later fleshed that out) I've never (maybe once) redesigned them to add anything to these characters in line with their new personalities.. I might do that eventually but there's a couple other designs I want to do first Anyway as for these drawings I wanted to try doing different angles than I normally do to make these more interesting looking, so I got some reference for that the new Diera drawing looks less like she's taunting you and more like she's bragging to someone else. you're not even worth it. You may also notice that sword on her hip on the new drawing does not match with her at all because of the colours, and you'd be correct it is not hers, it belongs to Miles (which I should give a proper design to his sword as well, I didn't really think about it when I first drew it. I haven't actually posted that drawing on here). It is also kinda tacked on and the perspective is probably off but ignore that part I do not know why the old drawing of Liliam has this weird, choppy hair. I can't tell if it was intentional or I was that bad at drawing short hair (I do know earlier that year I avoided giving characters short hair for that reason). And I think it was just a screen colour calibration issue/colour filter I forgot to turn off but holy shit her face? "We found a fucking ghost and decided the best course of action is to badly paint on blush" I mentioned "in-game" earlier, these guys were originally made in Terraria. The thing Liliam is holding was supposed to be based on the Nebula Arcanum, although in the original I could not pull up reference. I just kept it pink here cause it would be kinda complimentary to her forest green/cyan

End id] Drawn Feb. 22 2021 I drew some characters of me & my friends (and sort of designed outfits for some of them bc I couldn’t draw/didn’t remember what they wore originally).

These characters were originally made in terraria so the background elements and all their weapons are from the game (The weapons/bg elements are specifically based on the celestial towers from the game). I kinda forced one or two in so they don’t fit super well but some were meant to be associated with those in the original rp (that we never did haha) and most others fit pretty well.

Since LC and ML don’t have actual weapon classes (The others are melee, ranged, magic, and summoning respectively) associated with them I put Zero as a throwing weapon and I was gonna give Echien an explosive, but I forgot. God this image is so cluttered.
