And this is why I went back to college at 46. Nutrition impacts health. Medical nutrition therapy is able to decrease and/or reverse (some) chronic illness. After my internships are completed next year I plan to continue my education by pursuing a public health degree. (Ya know, while working in my field - lifelong learning) because public health is at the heart of getting the nutrition education out to the masses. First rotation down! Food service management was really different than I thought it would be.
