nick x beth
0/5, no thanks, haha.
Actually no, that's not entirely true. I think there's sort of something interesting there in the sense of Beth's facade and the way she's attracted to power, and how that's sort of offered two-fold with Nick's role as a city councilman and Rio's boss.
I think if it was a different show – and if this subplot had been introduced much earlier – that there'd be potentially something rich and compelling in Beth being torn between private power (Rio) and public power (Nick) by virtue of the ways they wield it (crime vs politics), but I don't think that's what this show is, and like I said, I think it's being introduced a bit late in the show's run to do it justice.
Send me a ship and I'll give you my (brutally) honest opinion on it.
[It's a whole different show.]
i haven't been watched as9 but i had to pause the pod and go watch the song and like. yeah.
the fact that i just saw pepa from shameless as rose-
So, I’m on a “Trip Tucker has gotta rescue a snobby princess but bang her too,” episode. How very Riker of you, Trip. This is so unbearable to watch. I think I’ve read 10 self-insert fanfics under the same parameters. Guilty pleasure trope. Sound familiar?
