As much as I would like George in the Mercedes and I think any potential move depends on a lot of external factors, I also hope that George stays with Williams and helps them progress after the recent postive results kinda like Lando is doing/has done with McLaren. I think if Williams get the 2022 regs right they can really make some postive progress.

It’s a bit of a mixed feeling isn’t it? We want him in that Mercedes because that’s George’s ultimate goal himself. At the same time he’s been doing an amazing job at taking Williams to another level!

2022 has huge potential to be a turning point for Williams, that’s a fact. George being at Williams in 2022 could tip that potential to an even higher chance… but on the other hand, Mercedes will be THE team to show the world how amazingly fast George actually is.

I don’t know what I prefer, but all I do know is that both teams will be a good idea for him. Williams is far more of a project, Mercedes is the fix he’s been looking for. It’s gonna be interesting to see what gets announced.

On the other hand, if George goes to Mercedes and Nyck gets a seat at Williams - I think he can do some amazing things for the team as well.
