I wish so bad we would have had a Digglicity romance, and I am all about angst, just imagining how angsty everything between Diggle, Felicity, and Lyla would be like - just imagine! Especially if the focus was that Digg had to watch, in S2, that Felicity was smitten by Oliver, even though he was such a jerk to her, and Digg has been nothing but supportive - the pain! Gosh, I hate being an angsty shipper, but it feels soo good and soo painful lol
EBR is just the sweetest of things, and she can be paired with anyone - but that doesn’t mean you should. I feel like they destroyed the FS character by having her with nearly every male character (especially if they are the male lead)… It makes it seem like she gets around, and, no lie, I’m fine if a female character decides to get with a lot of guys (I love Catwoman, Black Widow, and Poison Ivy - women who use their physical appeal to seduce men), but FS’s character has no self-respect and loses herself in the men she is *truly in love with*, e.g. Oliver and her ex from college. The writer’s need to leave the job of pairing her with every possible character to the fanfic writers, like, come on, we can do a better job, don’t destroy our ships. EBR is perfect, especially with her sweet appearance, it’s just the shitty writers. *ugly sobbing noises*
