I did some walking around the Digimon ts central town and saw signs...like actually signa

This lot to be exact, I thought why not try to describe them

Here's the key, I don't know kana (k)but the latin(L) side I do know so I started translating

In order top to bottom left to right

I'll take some better pics once they've healed up, but yeah, I got my digicode tattoos for Digimon Day.

I've been wanting them for a long time. They're the written words of my OCs crests: Justice and Freedom.

For a while I had considered changing them... Living in the US, I felt like those words rang sort of hollow as I got older, like they just became obnoxious buzzwords for politicians and such. But. I said fuck that. These words are true virtues to me and I won't let others misuse of them take that away. These characters and these notions mean something to me. Maybe that's silly to say... But they're really important to me, and it means a lot that I went and got this done with my sister; Digimon means a lot to us. I'll leave it at that for now, cuz I'm getting emotional typing this.

Looks like this unown made some new friends!

Wanted to make some digicode/digimoji unown variants because i feel like this is some untapped crossover potential!

sharing this thing i made on the offchance someone other than me could also use it- it’s the symbols on the under/inside of wizardmon’s cape, tiled for convenience. the first line spells デジタルモンスター  (digital monster) in digicode.

added a version with the symbols randomly rotated to make it a little more accurate- tho canon itself is often inconsistent and the symbols are typically more random and sometimes not even all of them are present.

(if you do use it you don’t have to credit me since it’s so simple, but please show your creation to me! i ALWAYS wanna see more wizardmon!)
