#Repost @jesusvbarraza ・・・ Just completed this new print in support of Marichuy for president of Mexico. This is the first time the Zapatistas put forth a candidate in any electoral race and I’m excited to see what happens because in this world today it seems anything can happen. I printed an edition of these posters and they will be sold as a fundraiser to help a group of mujeres at UC Berkeley who will be going to Chiapas for the EZLN encuentro de mujeres in March. #dignidadrebelde #chiapas #marichuy #ezln #zapatistas

Artist "Celia Herrera Rodriguez Printed in Oakland, 2011 We (Dignidad Rebelde) collaborated with Celia Herrera Rodriguez to make this limited edition prints based on the drawings used in Cherrie Morraga's latest book Drawings From A Xicana Codex of Changing Consciousness. The set includes all nine images from the book and comes printed on various types of colored paper and ink combinations that were selecteded by Celia during a proofing process at our studio. These will be sold as lose prints and as portfolio sets packaged with a cover sheet in an envelope."
