Thinking about it, I should probably define what mythobjects are and can be, outside of "Being objects that are mythical creatures not including mermaids, demons, and angels". Along with that, I should probably set some ground rules for Dreamflies and DreamSlugs too so they don't get mixed up with mythobjects when they are in their objectoid forms.
I'mma put this here for now, might compile this and other information like this all together somewhere later, idk.
Mythobjects are object hybrids made when combining some sort of animal carcaus or fire crystal to the process it takes to make a new object(the ikea-like package that couples get to make the child they got when they sent their DNA to a special factory that I have probably already gone into or will go into soon).
The only animal carcauses that work are:headless horses, back halves of goats, headless birds, and butterflies. Each creating a mythobject that's half of what animal was used, with the exception of the butterfly which makes a fairy. Meanwhile if you use a fire crystal instead of an animal carcaus, you get a cyclops. Which are generally taller than most normal objects, especially when both parents are cyclopses themselves.
Now DreamSlugs and Dreamflies also have animal like physical traits, especially with their big creature form in which; they become the animal, the group of microorganisms that they consist of, choose to have them become when created(which are usually land and/or air creatures[like mammals, birds, reptiles, insects, and arachnids] with few DreamSlugs taking on water creatures for their animal forms). Though it's more than their third form that they have animal features, because their 2nd/object-oid form has some traits that look like their 3rd form(like a spider one having 8 eyes, or a centipede one having multiple legs). And so to not have these two get mixed up for a mythobject(or another similar species) here's some ground rules for them:
Dreamflies must always have insect-like wings(no bird or bat wings[bat shaped insect wings are fine])
Dreamflies can't be smaller than 3.5ft as a mature adult and no smaller than 2ft as young, unless in their first/butterfly form
Both Dreamflies and DreamSlugs must have object legs(doesn't matter if it's normal or digigrade), but they can have hooves or paws
No fish tails or aquatic mammal tails(dolphins, and whales) unless legs are fully present
(before this post I should point out that none of the deadly sins nor heavenly virtues in this universe are supposed to be directed copies of the figures they are based off of. They are VERY loosely based on them. The only thing these characters share with the religious figures they are based on is their sin/virtue and their name somewhat. I don't know specifics about each Christian figure outside of Internet research because I don't read the Bible[I'm a Non practicing Christian{believe in the God and Jesus but don't go to church or do certain Christian specific holidays}]. Anyways)
Made the concept designs of the 7 Heavenly virtues/the first 7 angelics after the creation of the first angelic(hope). I didn't draw Hope yet because I don't know how to draw her yet, I know I want her to be one of those hand held candles but I don't know how exactly to make that into a big ass angelic(Especially considering she's supposed to be the complete opposite of Despair).
I was kinda thinking that both the 7 sins and the 7 Virtues would have to keep up doing what they did to get their souls banished to the Underworld/Overworld. while in the Underworld it's easier for the Sins, in the Overworld it's a little harder for the Virtues considering that their Virtues can be detrimental to their health more than the Sins(Because they will have a harder time to focus on themselves instead of others[which could be seen as selfish in the wrong eyes]).
Depending on certain things about the Virtue, the harder or easier the job of keeping up their virtue can be. With one of the hardest being for Ingabrity, who can't even sleep because he has to activately keep his own halo held whole(which is a death sentence for an angelic if a Halo breaks) while working with feet tied to weights. meanwhile the easiest being for Asand, because; she's a child(died at age 10), Hope didn't want the full virtue job to be on a child's hand, and was given a helper/'parent'(the one that gave her her turtle plushie)
Idk yet, this is just spitballing. Idk if I'll keep this part of the lore.
I got into fleshing out these two mid realms my Dimension Garden has, The Underworld and the Overworld. Started off of "hey I kinda want to make designs of the demons that are the deadly sins" then evolved with making the sins(Not the Helluva version) as object characters, and now I got more lore and concept art for characters for a part of my object universe that I honestly didn't put much thought in yet.
So basically:
One day, in the begining times of the realms. There were two freshly old souls that returned to the Great Blood Birch(who is pretty much the God of life and souls, who lives in the 5th realm that acts like this universe's main afterlife). One was from a person that was riddled with pure evil and sin to the point where it affected those around in a seriously negative way. Meanwhile the other was from a person that was filled with pure good and virtue that also ended up unfortunately affecting those around in a seriously negative way too.
To keep these two souls from possibly disturbing the natural balance, the Blood Birch decided to make something of its own other than souls. Producing two seeds, it asked a few of its soul pixies(the purple kind of pixies[a non-sentient species that's being reworked] who's only job is to bring souls back to the 5th realm once a person dies, aka essentially being grim reapers) to take a seed and plant it among the trees that the realms bloomed from. From this, the seeds grew flowers that bloomed the Underworld and the Overworld. From there the Great Blood Birch banished a soul to each mid-realm, subsequently creating Despair and Hope who ruled over their respective mid-realm.
After this creation, the Great Blood Birch Tree now pays even closer attention to an old soul's sins and virtues. Too much of either and the old soul gets banished just like Despair and Hope. Making the soul an Angelic like Hope, if the soul is too virtuous, or a Demonic like Despair, if the soul is too sinful.
The first 14 souls that get evenly banished into the two mid realms, end up as apart of Despair's/Hope's court(becoming the 7 deadly sins and 7 Heavenly virtues respectively). And the rest after that end up having to be under the orders and control by these courts.
Ight done with info dumping, here's some concept art I made for some characters, specifically the sins and Despair since they were what got this ball rolling (I'll make Hope and their court later):
I would go on another info dumb of who the souls that became the sins were and what they did to get to this point, but I don't currently have all of them done I just have the brothers(Lusilver and Leviascale) and Bellzebub, so I will make a separate post about them and maybe who the Virtues were and how those 7 became Angelics.
