When writting yuri in my post canon au I like to write him pretty touchy with his counterparts.

Like often hugging them or throwing himself on lap and such, especially when they are doing something that's not paying attention to him.

Yet he doesn't know how to handle geniun Affection.

Because when he does it it's more of teasing, provocating reactions. But when they do it's because they do actually love him. He grew up without ever being given affection from others so he doesn't know how to handle it

He basically acts like one annoying cat. They can never have peace with him.

One of scenarios i thought of would be yuya and yugo sitting on couch playing mario kart or some game together when Yuri suddenly appears and just throws himself over their laps like annoying cat. Not letting them play

Collegebound, Chapter 35: Favorite Foods

Yuya arrived back at the dorm later that evening with a DVD from his professor. He opened the door and immediately the smell of popcorn made his mouth water. “Mm, I love popcorn! It’s one of my two favorite foods!”

“What’s your other favorite food?” Yuri asked curiously. Yuya grinned, “Cotton candy! Popcorn and cotton candy are the perfect foods to go with entertainment!”

Yuto smiled from the kitchen where he was making popcorn. “My favorite food is sushi. I like the techie side of it.”

“Mine is tacos and hot dogs!” Yugo said with a grin. “They’re quick and easy, and I can find them in food stalls and food trucks on the street!”

“Mine is spicy chili peppers,” Yuri said. “I grow them myself, and I can eat them by themselves or add them to a dish.”

“Well, the popcorn is done, so why don’t we watch Yuya’s DVD?” Yuto suggested, offering everyone a bowl of popcorn. Yuya beamed, “Yes, let the show begin!”

-He gardens. him being a botanist, florist, farmer or gardener or any of these things makes me so unbelievably happy

-Yuri sees himself as a poison that affects anyone he comes in contact with so he mostly stays away from people he cares for

-My boy does not like being touched

-Yuri doesn't mean to be rude or snappy, it's just how he is and how he was raised

-yuri goes to therapy with yugo and yuto by the request of yuya and yuma, his therapist is actually the one to suggest gardening to yuri

-Yuri knows how to make poisons because of course that's something he would know

-He has a secret sweet tooth and i will die on this hill

-He leaves presents and gifts for the yuboys (+ yuma and astral) when they're sleeping cuz his love language is giving gifts

-Yuri wasn't always power hungry or a sadist, he was raised and taught that these traits were acceptable and they festered and evolved into what he became today (I do not give a fuck that he's the piece of Zarc's sadistic tendencies and lust for power, he would have been a good kid if he actually received love)

-He likes the kingdom hearts series

-It takes awhile for yuri to understand that hands and words aren't always meant to hurt

-He likes to hold hands with the yuboys. the first time he initiated contact first he was so proud of himself

-he/they yuri? yes

-Yuri can cook he just doesn't find it enjoyable

-His fondest memory as a kid was reading a book on roses

-Yuri likes to collect snakes to the dismay of yugo and astral

-his favorite holiday is Halloween b/c of course it is

-Yuri's room in the rokuboys house is locked as that's a habit he couldn't shake

-He's a angry driver so he's not allowed to drive unless its a emergency cuz when panicked or under a lot of stress he's super calm and suddenly a good driver

-Him hiding behind anger or just emotionless disinterest is a trauma response

-He has a cat! her name is lilac and she stays in his garden

-once comfortable with touch he's like a big ass cat and requires pats every few hours

-He's asexual and you can pry this from my cold hands

-His therapist is my main yu gi oh oc, Yuichi Edogawa.

-He sleeps in yuto room a lot cuz it's always cold in there
