You can't talk about monsters in Girl Genius without mentioning Jägermonsters!

For the twenty-third day of Halloeterodeen, we have a spectacular Jäger crowd scene by Phil, with stupendous colors by Cheyenne! Agatha is surrounded by a mob of Jägermonsters, many of whom we don't have names for. But among them you can see Dimo, Oggie, Mamma Gkika, Maxim, Jenka, and Higgs. We may also see an older looking (and alive!) Rerich von Billiguether, as well as General Koppelslav, but the identity of these last two is not certain. The Blonde Jägerfräulein is also present as a token non-Jäger, non-Heterodyne.

Nearly 11 years difference, it’s amazing how similar the two panels are (outside of artistic style shifting slightly over the years), selling that yeah, Dimo definitely had that thought running through his head. I also really like that they redrew the panel instead of pasting the original in. While I prefer the original’s posing fat more (Agatha looks like she is melting, oh no!), if they had just put in the 2013 art with a color filter or changed color, it would feel almost out of place (looking at all the games and shows that flash back to earlier installments with obvious differences).

they'd be bosses where u have a random chance of meeting one or the other until you "solve" their quest line. then when they're reunited u just get a harder boss fight where u thirdwheel them duking it out yayyy
