Inspired deeply by "A Dark Among The Lights" by @luckylectio the first is the scene of future! Wild and Dink bonding, and the second is drawn off a comment of that fic, where someone mentioned that Dink technically could wear the postmans clothes and iMaGiNe ThAt. Or something along those lines. I saw, Dink in Postman outfit and stopped paying attention in order to draw.

Some things are off, because I drew this on a whim and with 0 references, except for the postmans outfit. That's it.

How does Dink have time manipulating powers? (Linked Universe Theory)

Maybe a year or so ago now, I posted a theory suggesting something could possibly be off with Sun (read here), and later I said I have another theory based upon it I'd expand on later. Later is right neow.

I thought that maybe Dink had kidnapped Sun, and that's why she wasn't sending letters to Sky. While it's entirely possible the mailman just hasn't visited Sky's era yet, it just struck me as odd the two lovebirds weren't exchanging letters frequently.

I also pointed out it may be because the mailman just doesn't go to eras he doesn't exist in, but there's multiple issues with that. For one, we see him in an era he doesn't exist in during the chapter where Sky chases him down. For two, he seems to just follow wherever Dink goes (I've seen speculation he literally IS Dink tho...), and how could he only visit eras he exists in if he can't pick and choose them?

But I never really asked WHY Dink would kidnap Sun. Asking that question lead me to this theory, and this conclusion;

The blood of Hylia is Dink's power source.

WHY DO I THINK THIS???: Hylia is implied to be the goddess of time a lot, since she's often associated with it. Her descendants carry the power to manipulate time, and they're sometimes depicted as the sages of time.

And, we have not seen a single Zelda in the comic yet. There have been glimpses and mentions, but no actual interactions or appearances. They literally go to Time's era, and yet, NO LULLABY!!!

Dink could sneakily be princess snatching in order to use their power over time for himself. Or perhaps, he's getting it right from THE source, Hylia's spirit herself. (Sun or like literal Hylia idk bruah)

Buuuuuut, he could just have other means, something like Cia's gates, or a time bending instrument like the ocarina or Nayru's harp/lyre thingie. This is just fun speculation, I genuinely do not expect this to be canon at all whatsoever 💔✌️

Unknown was written in blood with an odd odor... but that's all you remember before being held in a dark room with warm, strong arms wrapped around you.
