After Fencio’s rather unfortunate demotion (and breaking the virtue of chastity) he moved to a less wealthy area near Heaven’s Citadel, where he raised his son Dino.

He basically grew up as a queer suburban kid. He always felt a little out of place and was afraid to talk to his father about it. Only when he met Leeloo (a sapphic lesbian), did he realise that he’s gay. Everybody thinks the two are dating, when in reality Leeloo’s been coaching the poor man on how to come out without causing an avalanche of trouble (Dino’s coming out was chaotic anyway).

Dino is an only child, a rainbow baby and his mother passed when he was very young. All this led to Fencio putting all his hopes and expectations onto his son, which created a lot of pressure, resulting in anxiety and stress-triggered vitiligo. He might be kind, helpful, social and outgoing at school, but the moment he’s in private he gets irritable and disregulated due to how much he exhausts himself throughout the day. If only there was an unclaimed or a demon boy to sweep him off his feet…
