while it is completely true that every single life matters, black lives need the most attention. i know everyone has read/heard about the blm movement 100 times but this will be your 101st time. technically speaking i have somewhat of an audience and just in case .01% do not know what is going on they, this will inform them. black lives are targeted every day due to their skin color by the police force and other law officials, in no world is this ok. there are millions of african americans in america that should be treated equally, skin color should not be a factor and it is time we change our country. everyone and everything needs change, it’s what makes something thrive, adapting to new challenges should always be done. america has not changed enough, while we are not the same country as 200 years ago there is still racial injustice ingrained into our society that many people do not know about, for example; in poorer area when there is a murder the police feel the need to convict someone in order to make the public believe as though they are doing their job, almost every time they convict an innocent person who is of color, this is not okay! this needs to be changed and fixed immediately, nothing can excuse a country from this, we will not overlook this issue anymore!
one of my good friends on insta posted this and i think it shows exactly why saying all lives matter does not help in this situation, instead it defeats the purpose.
if america is the land of the free, why should black people have to worry about their skin color when white people do not. this makes no sense and needs to be changed now!
i am not at all implying that white people are bad, just trying to make the problem of racial injustice known.
