This episode hit very differently than the first 2.
My heart hurts for Nicole...what she went through and what she had to do in order to keep the homestead, Rachel and herself safe is out of our reach. When she realised she was hunting the one man that was always there for her because she didn’t put one and one together... it made her feel like more of a failure than she already thought she was. It’s so hard to see such a strong and brave woman so broken and small. At first I thought Waverly was insensitive but honestly she tries with everything in her to make Nicole feel comfortable and to make her open up to her. Trying to reassure her that she loves her and that she’s there for her .... but Nicole is not in the right mindset at the moment... she probably still thinks Waverly will vanish any second and that it would only hurt her to get attached again.
I hope we see her opening up to someone in the next episode ... if she’s not ready for Waverly to know how she feels then hopefully Wynonna gets her to talk. I mean they get each other and she was the last person she saw after they disappeared for 18 months 3 weeks and 4 days.
Yeah with that I’m really looking forward to next week’s episode.
Best thing 2020 has ever seen
so proud of melanie !!
