Trump Is Making Federal Prison Even More Dangerous for Transgender Inmates

New directives from the Bureau of Prisons amount to government-mandated conversion therapy.

In February, the Trump Justice Department issued a program statement titled “Management of Inmates with Gender Dysphoria,” its new internal directives regarding transgender people in federal prison. The policy classifies being transgender itself as a “mental health disorder” and outlines a “treatment plan” to ensure those afflicted “progress toward recovery.” What “recovery” means, in the eyes of the administration, is made obvious by the mandates of the plan: confiscation of trans inmates’ gender-affirming clothes, makeup and other personal items; denial of hormones and any other gender-affirming medication; and program of forced psychotherapy and psychotropic drugs. “It is, in every meaningful sense, a blueprint for a government-run conversion therapy program,” Shannon Minter, legal head of the National Center for LGBTQ Rights, writes in the Advocate, “one targeting thousands of incarcerated people who have nowhere to turn.”

Hey beautiful people, I'm coming up with the Directives (Rules) for my blog that I would appreciate if it would be listened to (carefully read I mean) and applied by all of you here who are just like my family now. You guys are so supportive to me and special to me it means alot to me to what you guys have been doing and that is showing love, but these directives would essentially help the blog function in better way and create a clear communication between us. Me and you guys.

● REMINDER. I'm a reader, conveyer, interpreter.

Meaning I convey/interpret the messages that I receive from the source and what I see on your chart depending on my personal experience with the practice and knowledge. So please keep that in mind. That that is all I am.

● Please, read my bio to make sure that if my asks are opened or not. I would not take in asks if I have clearly mentioned that my asks are officially closed.

● If you have SPECIFIC questions regarding your chart send them by. But full flegdge posting an entire chart and asking "Tell me what's up" no I cant do that, I'm a student, with a job and i cant stay on here doing full chart readings for most people.

● For specific questions, I'm setting a number. Around 2-3 Questions for Natal Chart.

● I'd really appreciate the Feedbacks, and if im not getting any from the specific person I would NOT take in asks from them again.

● Anonymous are allowed, but please drop in your favorite colour and your favorite song, initials etc. <3

● I'm gonna now restrict my asks to my family (followers) only.

● About Nakshatras, Im still learning them, so at times I might be not extremely educated about the one you have asked for. I'd rather post links and sources for you guys who ask me about the nakshatra I'm least educated on.

● You can ask me general questions ALWAYS. By that I mean not your personal natal chart/tarot. But your thoughts on certain things, your doubt about certain thing in astrology or tarot, your beliefs, philosophy anything, I'm all ears <3. ok maybe not politics.

● I dont have much restrictions for tarot but I wont be taking in any questions that may make me uncomfortable. But yes try not bombarding me with 10 questions. I'd set number limit here too and that is of 3.

● I'm gonna restrict 18+ asks honestly. This applies to both Natal Chart and Tarot.

I love you guys so much, tbh I might add more so I believe this list is quite not completed..
