ODK guys. At first I was not interested in the new darna, but now that J. Tarog will take over with the costume designs, script and directing, i think i'll be a little bit interested. He added that the costume will be more practical, unlike the bikini eye-googling breast-showing the previous darnas had. I'm glad that J.T will take over because Darna is part of our culture and the main symbol that Filipino women are strong. Darna is not just a part of some trio led by men. Darna is a league of her own (and will most probably lead the band of Filipino heroes just like what I usually see in comic posters) despite being a PWD in her human form. (for those who forgot, the original Narda was a cripple). So now that J.T. takes over, I'm expecting more heartfelt script, less cringey lines, more practical and reasonable costumes, and heartbreaks to that whoever will die. Not that I think Direk Erik is not that good (i liked Tik Tik Chronicles), I'm just more into Jerrod's style, his love for Filipino culture, and research aptitude.
