“why are people so insistent on making dirk into a mean gay” bc the people who do this *are* "mean gays," or at very least they find mean gay dirk more relatable and/or realistic than soft happy dirk. i’m not saying soft happy dirk is necessarily bad or anything but like. that’s why. it’s also why so many lesbians like vriska.

and maybe sometimes mean gay dirk is bc the straights are at it again but (at least where i’m seeing it) that is definitely not the case.
