I wanted to take the time to boost one of the artists featured in my recent Intro to Clothing Alteration workshop at Little People of Ontario’s spring conference this year!

Jules Premus (@iguanadonis) was kind enough to design me a series of little people in order to showcase adapted clothing for those with dwarfism! He is an incredibly talented visual artist, and I look forward to reading his upcoming graphic novel Rivets upon release! Please go check him out!

Happy Face Equality Week

I really wanted to draw some happy people with facial differences for this week.

@autistictrekky I finally got the OC playdate colored in! :) I'll try and get a picture in the morning when there's natural light, but here's one for now!

(you can't see it here, but I tried to get Kirith's leg braces as well)

Also they've got their own art now! Kirith's is a sketch of something that looks really well detailed if you're an Andorian, Ceicive is struggling™ but has some geometric type art, and Ialott is drawing a bug of some sort as a gift for Syfic! <3

Last three redesigns! These three are technically also from the Carousel cast but come in after the murder mystery part of the story is over. In order: Zayn (he/him), Sophie (she/her), Clay (he/him). Clay and Soph are twins & Kyle is their adoptive sibling (who was originally their cousin but was taken in by Soph and Clay’s mother when Kyle was 10 or so)

"Stop making disabled characters evil" yes but also sometimes they are allowed to be evil and angry.

I have 3 disabled OCs. One is missing a limb, one has lots of painful scarring and is blind on one eye and the third has something in her brain and she's absolutely bitter and angry as fuck because sometimes SO AM I.

Disabled people are allowed to be angry or bitter or nasty or vile! At best the world uses us as inspo porn, at worst we get euthanized!

We have a right to be upset!

And there's a fucking difference between just making up a disabled character so you can antagonize them and use them as a "freak" (slur intended btw) or if you're writing down your own experiences.
