♛ STARTER for DANVERS, ALEX. || @disasterdanvers
↳ It wasn’t like her to not answer the phone. Even if Hayes had called six times in a row, she’d still answer. She’d use that annoyed, breathless tone and say “Hayes, seriously?” but for some reason, she wasn’t even doing that. Truthfully, the former first daughter knew that she shouldn’t care this much, that she shouldn’t become this attached. She wasn’t used to having friends, first of all. She also wasn’t sure that what she felt for the agent was entirely on the level of friendship, either. Alex was strong and smart and people respected her...there was something about all of that that made Hayes want to be liked by her, made Hayes adore her.
That was why, after the fourth time the phone had gone to voicemail and a cab ride, Hayes was standing outside the door to her apartment. Three little knocks, “Hey, Alex? Hey, I know you’re home. Why wouldn’t you pick up the phone, I thought you were dead.” she calls, hearing the woman rustling around on her way to the door.
