any reylo fanfics you recommend?

Yes! I have so many so I narrowed it down to my top 7. If you ever need help finding a fic or just want new fics to read, go on @reylofic because she can help you out there. Also be warned that almost all of these fics(except Like Young Gods) is rated either mature or explicit.

1. My favorite reylo fic is Satan Wears A Rolex by AquaWolfGirl. It’s a Devil Wears Prada AU where Kylo is Editor in Chief and Rey is the new journalist. I highkeylowkey have a kink for fics where Kylo is ceo or emperor or anything leader like. 

2. Delicate by Weatherbug02, or my friend @reyloday . This fic is so good and the writing is phenomenal. Honestly I wish i could write like her but i suck at writing so lol. Also the fanfic title reminds me of the song Delicate by Taylor Swift. She also has this fic called Disconnect where Kylo and Rey are youtubers and it’s so adorable.

3. Like Young Gods by disasterisms is also another one of my favorites. It’s a Jedi Academy AU where Ben and Rey grow up together, and its so cute. There’s actually a sequel which is To Kingdom Come. It’s angsty and long and beautiful.

4. A Collision of Stars by dustoftheancients is a classic one that is a good starter, but a warning that it’s HELLA slowburn. Like you’re going to have to wait about 25-30 chapters for some emotion. If you have patience, that’s good but if you’re hella impatient(like me), just sit through and read every chapter. It’ll be worth it, I promise. 

5. The Hierophant by SanctuaryTrin is a long, smutty oneshot. It’s basically pwp and the sequel is The Hierophant Reversed

6. Disparate Pieces by space_trash_princess is an amazing Renperor fic. I may be a little biased because Kylo Ren as Emperor is ovary-exploding but it’s a really well written fic. It’s pretty long(100k words) but nothing is dragged out longer than it should be, which I like.

7. He Knows He Needs to Stop by Perry_Downing is incredible. It’s a redemption fic and I love every part of it. It has all my favorite aspects of a reylo fanfic; romance, angst, slowburn. This is also a classic fic so of course all of it is well written. The one thing I can’t stand with fanfics is if there are grammatical errors. THEY BOTHER ME SO MUCH.

-this is something i’ve been working on for a while! i figured it would be a nice way to welcome the new reylos and also for us seasoned two-years to read some of our favorite works again before the last jedi.  

-the list is separated into three categories: one shots, multi-chapter works (1 to 10 chapters) and novel length (anything more than 10 chapters) 

-there are also separated lists for alternate universe and star wars universe stories. (a few could go either way, but if it’s based in a galaxy far far away, it goes in the second category.)

Inktober, day 2: Divided.  For this one, I drew inspiration from my favorite scene from one of my all-time favorite fics - To Kingdom Come, by diasterisms. It’s a heart-wrenching masterpiece of angst and longing.  

It’s as if they’re trapped within a smaller, barely contained hurricane that’s of their own making. The Force is a maelstrom of clashing energy whirling around them, through them, between them. Under cover of darkness, urged on by spirals of heat bursting from the bruised and battered corners of her heart, she drops her hands from his hair to his broad shoulders, one palm stroking the rough material of his cowl while the other dives beneath it. In the absence of sight, she uses her fingertips to map him out from memory, pulling at his tunic, pressing down where it covers the ridges of his spine and the muscles of his back. It’s so—

— good. That’s the word; she no longer has the wherewithal to find others. It’s so good to hold him like this again. And it’s painful, too, because a distant, rational part of her knows that she can only have this now and never again.

Her sobs take her by surprise. She turns her head slightly to muffle them into his sweat-damp hair. He’s crying as well— more quietly than she is, but crying nonetheless, the hot wetness of his tears seeping onto her neck as he continues to rock every inch of himself against her. His Force signature loops in warped, jagged knots that she feels like another lump in her throat.

When he raises his head from her neck, the sound that she makes is very nearly a garbled wail of protest. Not yet. Don’t let me go yet—
