hi this is fran who you might know as 💌 anon or 🌸 anon if you're a fanfic writer in fandoms of animes. i love talking with people on here so i always try to send asks and fandom should be fun. it has not been fun anymore.
after multiple people have been bullied off this site i have grow tired of the bullying and i will report what i have seen. lovelyluc (who now goes by dilucsbeloved) is a yume who goes around badmouthing others. they drive off one of my favorite writers on here and have also discouraged me from yumeshipping with diluc bc he wouldn't like extraverts which is why i am making a post about it. posts like this one are frequent with them and they continuously posted about others [even going so far as to make a drama on someone elses birthday bc they couldn't stand their friends being friends with this person and interacting with them]. this post underneath is a prime example of them shooting shots at someone specifically.
they aren't the only one in the yume shipping community who do these things. there are many people who aren't truthful about their intentions or who act welcoming and suddenly become hostile behind others backs. there are even talks about people on discord servers. i want to spread awareness b4 all of my favorite writers disappear bc of people like them.
i just saw a "dimentio is anti-endo" post and i don't think we've ever seen anything more ridiculous and plainly mischaracterizing in our life 😭
no girl dimentio wouldn't care about goofy ass tumblr discourse. weirder things have happened in the infinite worlds than someone with non-traumagenic headmates and the brain is a strange thing in general.......... sorry we generally try to keep discourse topics off of this blog but we got annoyed as you can tell 💔💔💔💔💔

Tried and failed to let this go, but no, actually, I think implying anyone who reads a character who appears as both male and female (and is thus often headcanoned as genderfluid) as male in any type of way is somehow buying into or giving undue weight to transphobic writing is fucked up. No one said SQX was a cis man or only a man; you just read "man" and made assumptions

I've been staying out of it because of overlapping circles & callout posts being incendiary but I always disliked SC in a "this person is unlikable" way, didn't do anything but be self-righteous and overly sensitive. like

overall I interpreted all the sketchy stuff in the fic as like general incompetence? And stopped reading. Seeing the shit she did/wrote like the week after I cooled off from MP100 feels like an atom bomb going off behind my head like she HUH?>????
I don't actually think "neutral on proship discourse" should be a warning sign, it's well-known that discourse is meaningless namecalling. It can be necessary to state your allegiances in specifically MP100 fandom because it attracts like a SHOCKING amount of people really weird about 13-year-olds, though. Disproportionate to any other fandom I've ever been. Something in the goddamn water in that fandom stg its EVIL out there.
Anyway I think an obsessive fixation on pedophilia was the actual warning sign. The fic is constantly full of these whiplash interjects like a fixative "wow, sure hope no one thinks I'm a creep, kind of creepy lol" circling. This kind of uncharacteristic fixation is what She Doth Protest Too Much really looks like.
I don't have much in the way in personal stories because I just gave them space. Uhhh I ended up in a discord server where she was friends with just about every frequent poster and popular artist in there. I found her behaviour to be kind of argumentative, but never escalating. So I was like okay, I was being uncharitable, it's just that she's sensitive. Just because I don't like her doesn't mean I gotta be rude. She unblocked me (I was blocked for saying proship electric chair as a joke) and I so I tried to be supportive and sociable by getting into her fic for a while. And now people are posting the most singularly insane quotes I've ever seen from right after where I dropped off. Holy mary mother of god.

Not to be presumptuous. but her friend SpCh is a notorious flying monkey to the point when I made a thread about how people in the west don't really bother researching other cultures and basic aspects of other countries, assuming they know everything, and SpCh misinterpreted the entire thread so badly I can only assume she was defending SC's honour based on 1 tweet. GIRL I WAS TALKING ABOUT SCUM VILLAIN FANFIC. IF A HIT DOG HOLLERS?

The Cowboy Bebop Discourse around Gren remains fascinating because everyone is insistent that their story is about the evils of human drug experimentation and how much they hate their body because of the breasts. And they just. They don't care. They don't care about the boobs. They joke with Faye not to peek on them in the shower because it's banter not because they're ashamed THEY HAD NO WAY OF KNOWING SHE WOULD ACTUALLY BUST IN WITH A GUN AND THEN ACT LIKE A WEIRDO ABOUT THEIR TITS.
And when they discuss the breasts it is one line in the middle of their discussion of how much Vicious traumatized them, they were put on a drug to help them sleep and it had a side effect, then they jump right back to the actual issue of Vicious. That's it that's the whole of it. 100% the most they say about the boobs other than that they are neither male or female but also both at once.
