Anything with a shit ton of chocolate.  Probably cookies and cream

The Beatles, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Coldplay, Led Zeppelin, Bread, etc.

Probably my teachers. Not necessarily a specific one only, just a few good ones combined

She’s so heavy-Beatles, it’s all over now, baby blue and don’t think twice, it’s alright-Bob Dylan, this is Halloween, immigrant song-Led Zeppelin

There are a lot of things but one would be a certain thing that may have triggered my depression

I own a lot of children's toys but i don't have any children. I also own a lot of key chains but no keys

Oh boy okay. I'm so sorry but I'm really curious. What was it like going to university? Was it far? Like lots of kids say lots of stuff but they're just kids so they're still afraid and unsure You're an attorney right? What's that like? Like what does your day consist of? what's your favourite book? What's it like living on your own? And America? What's your city like? Have you always lived there? Is it really different from being my age?

Whew. That's a lot! Let's take these one at a time.

What was it like going to university? Okay, so I might not be the best resource for asking about uni, a) because I was really stupid about going to university for lots of reasons, and b) because for whatever reason I'm really good at school, and so I don't have to work very hard at it. Like most things that are worth doing, going to university is a situation where you get out of it pretty much what you put in. So it's important to remember to take care of your business, which is studying, but it's also important to have a life outside of your books and to have a source of money so you can do the things you like to do. The balance is key; everyone will ask more of you than you can comfortably give, so the most important word you will ever learn is "no." Learn it early and use it often, and your university career will be much less stressful (not unstressful; that's unpossible) and much more fun.

Was it far? I went about a thousand miles away from my hometown to go to college. That's farther than a lot of people I went to high school with, but not the farthest that anyone I know has gone. It was great; I wouldn't trade the time I spent there for any alternative; I could have done things differently to make my life easier now.

You're an attorney right? Yep. A good one, I hope.

What's that like? Long periods of boredom punctuated by short periods of terror.

What does your day consist of? A lot of office paper-shuffling; making my girlfriend miserable; eating unhealthy foods; hoping people pay me to do the things that I do for them. So, much like every other American.

What's your favorite book? I don't think I can pick just one. I am currently in a race with myself to see whether I can fill my walls faster with bookshelves or art.

What's it like living on my own? More or less like living with your parents, only no one is checking up on you...or taking care of you. So, yay, I can stay out all night if I want to! Oh, I have to do the laundry? Oh, I have to cook dinner AND clean the kitchen? Oh, I have to keep the house habitable? Oh, those bills are all in MY name? Oh, I have to get myself up each morning and in the office with no wake-up call? That's what living on your own is like.

And America? What would you like to know about America? That's sort of a vague question.

What's my city like? I live in the suburbs of Memphis. Memphis is one of the great decaying metropolises of the middle of America. There are great things about Memphis, and there are serious problems. But I do really like it, since moving here about two years ago.

Is it really different from being my age? There's a lot of truth in the saying that youth is wasted on the young. But there's plenty of people who still think I'm a stupid whippersnapper; and I go around every day at work with people's lives and money in my hands. So, the process of growing older is a process of becoming. You never finish becoming who you are. There's always just the snapshot of what you are today. Tomorrow could be different. It probably won't be completely different, because that's a pretty quick turnaround for fundamental change. But you are shaped by the world, even as you shape it yourself. The story of everyone's life can be summed up forever as "Boy, I was such an idiot five years ago!"
