Okay, so maybe technically, residents of Alola aren’t supposed to take a random Pokémon out for a flight any more than visitors are, but Nebby’s not exactly a random Pokémon and Starr’s found that most people don’t object to the idea of the ex-first-Champion making use of her Legendary partner rather than calling on Charizard. (And it’s not like she takes advantage of her fame and fortune that often; bypassing the Ride service and the ten-year queue at the Tide Song Tea Room are about the extent of it.)
As the spotless white expanse of Aether Paradise comes into view, the Lunala dips a wing to slow her flight and spirals down to a butterfly-soft landing outside the main building. Starr reaches forward to give Nebby an affectionate scritch, slides to her feet, and scritches Nebby again before calling her back to the luxury ball. With the ball tucked into her bag, she turns to head inside. She’s humming softly, not in any hurry.
