I'm obsessed with collecting The Art of books for the Disney movies I love, so here are all the Art of books I own, along with some Funkos for the photoshoot, which they're four of my favorite Disney movies: Frozen, Tangled, Moana, and Encanto 💙

Listening to the Sounds.

My first attempt at Dolores Madrigal from Encanto. Here she is taking in the morning chorus in between jotting down her thoughts and story ideas. Maybe taking a little influence from her beloved family and town folk might help? Enjoy!

"I would move the mountains, make new trees and flowers grow.." Here she is, my first 2022 doll: Mirabel Madrigal! As soon as I saw Encanto (and how.. interesting the original doll looks..) I knew I had to repaint the doll :3 I struggled a bit during the first steps of the repaint to get her look right but it all came together eventually. I really hate the structure of the hair they gave her though, it was a bit hard to work with and it reminds me a lot of Moanas hair.. I originally didn't plan to do any other Encanto dolls but well.. We'll see ;) . repainted with high pigmented artist acrylic paints // hair restyled // glasses repainted with acrylic markers // before doll: 2021 Shop Disney 11" Mirabel Madrigal singing doll
