The "Lost" Third Member of the Trio: Bakhti the Fox

Did you know that in the early, more "Bambi-esque" versions of The Lion King (back when it was called King of the Jungle), Simba and Nala had a third best friend?

Meet Bakhti, a small bat-eared fox! In the original scripts, he was designed to be the "voice of reason" for the two cubs. While Simba and Nala were busy being brave and getting into trouble, Bakhti was the one trying to keep them out of it (though he usually ended up stuck right there with them).

It’s such a shame he was eventually cut from the final film. His design is absolutely charming and captures that classic 90s Disney energy so perfectly.

What do you think? Would you have liked to see a fox in the Pride Lands, or do you think the Timon and Pumbaa dynamic worked better?

Basically my mood since January 10th…😑⁣ ⁣ However, I will say this; I’m confident that Lizzie Mcguire will still be fully produced and released. It’s just the matter of when.⁣ ⁣ We should note that the original showrunner for @highschoolmusicalseries left after the first 4 episodes were filmed due to the same reason i.e. “creative differences” and the show still maintained its quality. So, there’s still hope. But I’ll be honest, I wish Terri Minsky was still involved 😅⁣ ⁣ Apparently, I read somewhere that even Terri’s family has been liking tweets that more or less indicates that she is not happy about the situation where she isn’t allowed by Disney to drive the show based on what she envisioned it to be. ⁣ ⁣ That being said, I’m trying to be patient as I’m sure conversations are still happening behind the scenes. But I’m still a little bit demoralised and I’m probably going to hold off my Lizzie Mcguire episode reviews (I’m at episode 30 now) till we get more updates on the show.⁣ ⁣ Side note: I appreciate you guys (friends and followers) for discussing the latest developments with me recently on Instagram 😍💕. Episode 11 wasn’t particularly my favorite because there wasn’t much I could takeaway and learn from its plot. And I felt that they could have done something to redeem the character of Angel Lieberman. But that’s just my opinion 🙂 ♡

From this except taken from an article in @thedisinsider, Lizzie Mcguire will exit it’s pre-production phase and will enter the production phase in October next month in LA!

#lizziemcguire is also planned for release in summer 2020! That’s pretty soon ☉🌞. Please note that this is not an official announcement but hopefully this is true!
