These Mickey Rice Krispie Treats are a delightful and fun twist on the classic Rice Krispie treats. They are perfect for Disney-themed parties or as a special treat for any Disney fan!
Ingredients: 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal. 4 cups mini marshmallows. 3 tablespoons unsalted butter. Red food coloring. Yellow food coloring. White chocolate chips. Black icing gel.
Instructions: In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and mini marshmallows together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and well combined. Add red food coloring to a portion of the marshmallow mixture to make Mickey's pants. Mix until the color is evenly distributed. Add yellow food coloring to another portion of the marshmallow mixture to make Mickey's shoes. Mix until the color is evenly distributed. Leave a portion of the marshmallow mixture white for Mickey's face and gloves. Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal into each colored marshmallow mixture separately until well coated. Grease a Mickey Mouse-shaped cookie cutter or mold with non-stick cooking spray. Press the red mixture into the pants area of the mold, the yellow mixture into the shoes area, and the white mixture into the face and glove areas. Melt white chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Use the melted white chocolate to create Mickey's buttons on his pants. Allow the treats to set in the mold for about 20-30 minutes, or until firm. Carefully remove the Mickey Rice Krispie Treats from the mold and use black icing gel to draw Mickey's eyes, mouth, and any other details. Serve and enjoy your adorable Mickey Rice Krispie Treats!
