Blond Blazer, a notoriously professional hero that would never create any Human Resources violations, has recruited Robert Robertson as a dispatcher for Torrence California's local Superhero Dispatch Network office.
To test Robert's abilities, she has provided him a corporate training device to familiarize him with what a potential shift might look like.
Here is a guide to acing that shift.
SDN wants you to harass some hooligans hanging around an old theater. So what you're gonna do is rough them up, we don't ask questions here at SDN, it's why our HR record is spotless. A combat and vigor hero is what you're looking for.
This first dispatch is all scripted. They're gonna have you send out Phenomaman.
And surprise, surprise, he's a pretty good fit for the job.
Next up, it looks like some evil villains are trying to get an education. The vile fiends!
You get some clues to send someone intelligent to do the job, so Brainbook is a good choice. But sometimes you're gonna want to send them a little backup to cover all their bases. I like to send along Equilibrium since he'll give you the boost you need.
Worth taking advantage of missions like this, where no new calls come in until it's completed. Take these opportunities to let you're heroes rest, so they'll be free for when you need them!
Once they're all good to go, review the mission. And there it is, 100%, we love to see it.
Continuing education, crushed!
What's that about the Phoenix Program rehabilitating folks?
Now we've triggered the next learning experience. We need to send a guest speaker to an art opening.
This one is a little different than the others, however, since we're given a skill interrupt.
Turns out, SDN's corporate speech is a real bore fest, who'd have thought? Fortunately, a quick thinking hero should be able to salvage this travesty!
Jokes covers charisma, fun facts intellect, and showing them your moves is mobility. You'll want a hero with at least three points in the one you choose.
I recommend sending Sweetalker, since you'll need the others after this and he'll have enough time to rest before you really need him.
Calls will be coming quick after the art exhibit, so take them as they come!
This high speed chase needs a fast hero and one good at combat. Pom Pom and Phenomaman make for the perfect combo!
The destruction of motorized vehicles was phenomenal!
Look, over there, a poor misunderstood kaiju! Get 'em!
You'll need someone with a little charisma to draw the monter's eye away from civilians, and someone with vigor to withstand its attacks.
Brainbook and Brickhouse are perfect for the job, especially since we want to hold onto Sweetalker for a moment.
Wildlife removed! That'll teach them to lose their habitat!
You'll be pretty busy with these past three dispatches. Fortunately, the attack on the hospital introduces us to a new twist on interrupts.
Character specific interrupts. This one needs Equilibrium, Phenomaman, Brickhouse, or Pom Pom. But since we've had the others on better fitting jobs, we've got Equilibrium to handle this one.
Clear a path through those mean old criminals, and the sick and injured can walk their way out!
A character specific interrupt will (almost) always succeed. So try using these when you can to cut down on the number of heroes sent out on missions. It's a great way to cover your bases when there are a lot of calls!
And, of course, our most vital responsibility as heroes! Assisted living... a-assistance!
Of course, there are plenty of normal caregivers that could be doing this, but surely there are no more urgent tasks for our heroes!
This old lady needs help crossing the road to get to an imminent doctor's appointment, so we're going to need a fast hero like Pom Pom.
And there we go, 74%. It looks like a little vigor could have helped round this out. However, I like to save our tougher heroes for the last two missions.
If you've been quick, you should also have a decent amount of time to rest here as the last two calls draw down.
The despicable organization, the Red Ring, have taken hostages. You'll need a skilled negotiator and someone tough to make them surrender. So, charisma and vigor are the play, Sweetalker and Brickhouse sound like just the ticket.
And it's perfect! Civilians rescued, and gang arrested!
If you've kept up with these missions well, you should have a pretty full roster for the final mission.
El Diablo's sidekick, El Diablito, is trying to flee. Run them down!
You need heroes with mobility, vigor, and some combat to succeed.
But given our full roster, we don't have to worry too much.
Villain sidekick, mangled.
And there you have it, my guide to dispatching through the tutorial. I plan to make more for the other episodes, for my benefit for the most part, but I figured it might help others to have this all together as well!
Don't forget to be phenomamal!
