The Canadian Alligator: On October 10th of 1900, a naturalist named George Goudereau, saw a 12 foot long alligator-type creature crawl out of Lake Kootenay Bay, where it rooted around in a nearby garbage dump before slithering back into the water. The Mystery Lions of Arkansas: On September 20th of 2002, 4 adult Lions, of mysterious species and origin, were shot in forests of Quitman, Arkansas. They reportedly had full lions manes, with thich dark brown fur. The public was outraged, assuming that these lions had escaped from the collection of an owner of exotic animals, or zoo... but the investigating officer, Sheriff Dudley Lemon publicly afirmed that he had traced every known large cat in the state, and none were found to be missing. The Devil Monkey of Danville: On August 9th of 2001, a search party was formed in Danville, New Hampshire. The target of the search was a "giant" primate that had been witnessed by the good people of Dansville on numerous occasions. The Tasmanian Tiger: On September 7th of 1936, the last Thylacine (a rare dog-headed marsupial, with a kangaroo-like pouch) died in captivity in the Hobart Zoo, in Australia. The Tasmanian Tigers were driven into extinction by over zealous ranchers, who saw them as a nuisance animal. The Drunken Monkey Murder: On August 15th of 2013, the dead body of a monkey exhibiting showman was discovered in an alleyway in New Delhi. His head had been smashed in with a rock during a brawl in a bar. Chupacobra Caught On Dash-cam: On August 13th of 2008, footage from a deputy Sheriff's patrol car hit the media.
