the royal giving the knight tasks to perform in their honor/the knight "fighting" for the royal, whatever that may mean for the people involved
the royal being an introject/kin/etc of a royal character, and the knight being an introject/kin/etc of that character's knight from their source
the knight being a recovering r*dqueer and the royal helping them express their want to serve someone in a risk-aware and safer way
the royal in the relationship identifying with terms like dissoroyal/dissoprince/dissoprincess, princessfemme4knightbutch or anything else royal
