You know, the new Minecraft sulfur caves biome means quite a lot to me in particular

I had a dream, as a child

I don’t remember if I dreamt it just once, and that I misremembered that I dreamt about it once before

Or that I dreamt of it on two separate occasions with years in between, sometime during my early teens and another time far far into the mists of my childhood

It was a biome that also looked akin to the danakil depression. Great yellow and green cliffs of sulfur. The strangest feeling it was, flying through it.

I called it in my head the alkaline biome, even though the actual pools are acidic

Ever since then, and especially because a location in Pokémon moon reminded me of my interest, I’ve felt that it would’ve made a wonderful addition to Minecraft

So surreal

It’s come full circle
