It feels completely unreal to be posting this, but I have been nominated for a Ditmar for Best New Talent!
I think if you had told me that this would happen one day, I would have assumed you were making fun of me. When I started writing I never assumed I would be eligible for anything, and it feels like a strange dream to be here. The start of this year has been a complete whirlwind, with the Aurealis shortlisting and so many of the stories from Never Say Die being celebrated with award nominations. It feels so exciting and humbling to have so many people so supportive of my weird little stories.
Thank you to everyone who nominated me. I genuinely wouldn’t be here without the community around me.
