It had been two weeks since you, Four, and the other fugitives had made it to the sanctuary of the Amity farms. Their representative, Johanna Reyes, had been kind enough to extend her help to the six of you when you asked. Though, that came with a price as she gave each of you a role to perform to help out while you were there. Though, you didn’t mind. Helping the people of the Amity faction do their farm work was better than constantly being on the run, or having to look over your shoulder. It almost brought you peace, almost.
You were pulled from your thoughts as the cot you lay in dipped and a loud groan erupted from beside you. A smile graced your lips, turning over to see the sight of your boyfriend, “Hi there, handsome.”
Four huffed, turning his head to meet your soft eyes, “Hi.”
Shuffling closer to him, you laid your head on his shoulder and his arms wrapped around your waist, “How were the kids?”
He groaned, pulling you closer to him, “I had no idea how tiring they could be,” he paused, “but it’s nice. Relaxing even.”
“Wow, the ever so fearing Four, dauntless trainer, tired out from kids,” you joked, making him chuckle. Your nose brushed against his, lips just barely touching each other, “You just need to relax.”
“Is that right?” he smirked, his large hands gripping your waist.
“Mhmm,” you hummed, pressing a chaste kiss against his lips. You shot up out of his arms onto your knees, “Take your shirt off and turn over.”
“What?”
“Take your shirt off and turn over,” you repeated, “I’m gonna help you relax.”
Four nodded, following your orders with no further questions asked. He turned over to his stomach and folded his arms underneath his head to rest on. You waited until he was situated to swing your leg over his lower body, straddling his waist. Soft groans and grunts left his mouth as you began to dig your hands into his back, kneading out any knots and tension that was straining his back. Your hands worked for a while, rubbing over his toned back, obliging when he told you to go further up or down, apply more pressure or stay in that same spot for a second.
“Your hands are like heaven,” he sighed.
“I think you’ve told me that once or twice before,” you muttered, leaning forward just enough to start placing small kisses across the length of his shoulders, muscles twitching at each kiss. He called your name low and husky as a warning. You giggled innocently as if this wasn’t your plan all along, continuing to scatter kisses on his back. Each breath he took deepened, loving the way your lips felt against his skin—but he loved the way his lips felt against yours more.
A squeal left your body as Four’s arm suddenly reached back and wrapped around you. He flipped you over so you were lying next to him again. Before you could even speak, his hand gripped your jaw, pulling you closer and wasted no time slotting his mouth on yours. You melted instantly, kissing him back with just as much passion. His tongue found its way inside your mouth and tangled with yours. A moan slipped from the back of your throat, sending those familiar tingly feelings through your body.
Four knew your body like the back of his hand, so he knew what that moan meant once he heard it. His hand let go of your jaw, delicately trailing down from your neck, brushing against your nipple through the thin fabric of your nightgown, continuing south of your body until his hand reached the hem of the gown, dipping underneath it. Your legs fell open to him like second nature, fingers finding your pussy through the cotton underwear. You moaned into his mouth as he softly rubbed your clit, hips following the circles his fingers were rubbing in.
“Please,” you whined softly.
“I am,” he answered right before pulling your panties to the side, finally dipping into your folds, feeling all the wetness that had already puddled in your panties, “All this for me?”
You nodded as you bit your lip, “I love it when you touch me.”
“I know you do, baby,” he muttered, continuing to work his fingers into circular motions against your clit, applying a bit of pressure, “Such a good girl,” he grunted along with you while you continued to moan.
Your head fell back against the pillow when he picked up speed. You tried to keep yourself quiet, knowing that the two of you were in an open hut and it wouldn’t be hard for anyone to hear if they were close enough, but Four hated it when you were quiet. He loved when you were vocal, it let him know that he was doing all the right things to your body, pleasing you in the most appropriate way.
Without even thinking, your hand shot down to grab his wrist when he sunk two fingers into your wet hole, “Fuck!” you cried, hips bucking against them. You loved that Four knew your body so well. He knew all the ways to make you cum fast or to drag it out just right.
“That’s it, baby, ride my fingers,” he instructed.
“Oh god,” you breathed through that moan, your body moving along as he pumped his thick fingers in and out of your pussy, “fuck, fuck, fuck, I’m so close.”
“Already?” Four whined, dipping his head to sloppily kiss along your exposed neck and chest
You nodded, furrowing your eyebrows as you choked down another loud moan. Your legs started to shake as that familiar knot started to tangle in the pit of your stomach. Your cunt tightening around his digits as he continued to fuck you with them, curling them up against that g-spot that only he could ever reach. You grunted out his name as that knot finally snapped and you released all over his hand. Chest heaving up and down as he slowly slipped his fingers out, dragging them over your clit again to help you ride out your orgasm.
He lifted his head with low, dark eyes, watching you catch your breath and coming down from your high, “Hey,” he called to you, tapping your chin to grab your attention. Without even asking, you turned your head towards him and opened your mouth. He sunk his cum-covered fingers into your mouth. Licking his lips, he watched as you sucked your own arousal off his fingers, moaning as you did, knowing you enjoyed your taste, “Hm, my dirty girl.”
Just before the two of you could get any further, a voice called from the distance, interrupting the two of you.
“Hey, Four? Are you there?” The voice got closer and was recognizable by none other than Tris Prior, “I need your help.”
Four sighed, dropping his head on your shoulder, “Guess we’ll finish this later.”
The Sixth Faction exclusive look at chapter 6 for the upcoming new installment to the Divergent universe out Oct 6, 2026! Super excited for this one! What’s y’all’s thoughts?
Dauntless initiate Sara Sumner is far more interested in her trainer Eric than she should be, but must accept that anything more than friendship between them is strictly off-limits until she can gain an official place in her faction of choice. As she continues her initiation, revelations about Eric’s past soon come to light, and Sara learns why he keeps himself closed off from others, hiding behind his reputation as a harsh and unforgiving leader.
When the time finally comes for them to embark on a tentative relationship, Sara and Eric are immediately forced to contend with the head of Erudite, Jeanine, whose sinister plot to seek out and destroy Divergents involves recruiting Eric to the cause.

As you fell through the air you thought about how dying on impact would feel. The more you fell the more you worried this really was a trick. Suddenly your body hit a giant net and bounced a few times. Then a man with honey colored hair and tan skin pulled back the net and said, “welcome to dauntless.” “What’s your name?” he asked.
“Y/N” you answered. Slowly more and more people jumped. Eventually Christina, Will, Tris, Peter, and the mystery boy joined you in the abandoned warehouse looking room. You stood with Christina and Tris waiting to see what happened next.
“I’m Four. I’ll be one of your instructors. The process is simple, over these next few weeks you’ll be put through a series of exercises and trials. You’ll gain points and be judged to determine your future job in Dauntless,” Four says. That didn’t seem too bad you thought.
“And,” the blonde man added. “The last three in line on the score board will be cut from Dauntless; factionless. I’m Erik I will also be one of your instructors.” “Dauntless born will train with me, transfers follow Four.”
“Any questions?” Four asked the transfers once Erik took the dauntless born.
“Your names Four?” Christina says. “Like the number?”
“Exactly like the number,” he says plainly. “Follow me,”
You stay close to Christina and Tris as you walk with the group through the dark cement caves following Four. When you turn to talk to Christina you can see Peter, Will and the boy whose name you heard is Al behind you. Four stopped eventually once you all reached a large cement room. The dorm.
“This will be your home for the next few weeks,” Four says.
“Girls or boys?” Someone asked.
“Yes,” Four replied. And with that Tris gave you a horrified look and you couldn’t blame her. You, Christina, and Tris found beds next to each other. People were grabbing clothes off a cart and changing in front of everyone. What a nightmare you thought. Tris was also uncomfortable with the circumstances, you figured it was probably the fact that she was Abnegation and barely even knew what she looked like. It must be scary, everyone knowing your face better than you. You were freaked out cause of the twenty something teenage boys also in the room with you. Eventually you left the dorm and followed a path to a room that smelled like smoke. Inside you saw transfers burning the clothes from their homes. You, Christina, and Tris walked over and you saw Peter, Al and Will standing off to the side. You threw your clothes in the fire and began to walk away when Erik stepped in front of you.
“You need to burn, everything, from your old faction,” he says.
“I did,” you reply.
“The necklace too,” he says. You try to step around him and ignore him but he pushes himself in front of you again. Christina and Tris are watching wondering if they would do something. “Hey! I said the necklace too,” he says as he aggressively reaches for the jemstone on your neck. Out of the corner of your eye you see Peter about to step forward but Will puts a hand on his shoulder urging him to stop.
You shove Erik’s hand off your chest, “touch me or my necklace again and I’ll cut off your fucking hand.”
“Oh, the little Erduite princess has some nerve,” Erik mocks. “Fine keep your fucking necklace, we’ll see how far that smart mouth gets you in the pit tomorrow,” he says.
As you all walk to the mess hall Christina says, “what the fuck is the pit?”
“No idea,” Will answers seemingly coming out of no where. Al is with him but Peter you see across the room with a group of people you hadn’t meant yet.
“Christina you’re from Condor who’s that guy,” you say gesturing towards Peter.
“Peter?” She says. “He’s an asshole,”
“Oh,” you say plainly. The guy who waited with you and helped you jump is a dick? Interesting development. You guys searched for somewhere to eat when Tris, Christina, Will and Al ended up near an empty space; except for Four. You sit with them despite wanting to learn more about Peter.
“What makes you think you can sit here?” Four says to Tris who sits next to him.
“What makes you think you can tell us where to sit?” She says back surprisingly fast. You and Christina smile whereas Will and Al look horrified to what Four might say.
“What’s your name?” He says.
“Tris,” she says.
“You guys are gonna be a group of trouble aren’t you,” he says rhetorically.
“Probably,” Christina says. You see Peter across the room and you two make dead eye contact he smirks for a minute. Creating a sense of mystery and secrecy between you two. He gets up and walks over to the water fountain. You follow. “I’m gonna go grab some water,” you say.
“What’s your name again?” He asks in a soft tone.
“Y/N, your Peter right?”
“Sure am.”
You two are about to start conversation when a swarm of dauntless run over and drag you guys into the crowd. Suddenly you’re being lifted up. It’s like flying. You float on the sea of bodies along with Tris, Christina, Peter, Will and the other initiates. Your hair comes undone as you continue crowdsurfing. You could get used to this.

It’s funny, he thinks, that one of her weakest points is one of his as well. In different ways.
“There you go,” he murmurs. “Little more…good. Doing so good for me.”
She whines, preening under his attention. He knows it’s getting to her, even if she refuses to admit it. Discovering this was the highlight of his life. Also potentially the most difficult thing he’s ever done. He doesn’t believe in praise. Doesn’t believe in giving someone encouragement for something they should already be doing. Except with her.
And Amelia will never admit how much she loves it.
He can feel the way she clenches around him every time he does it. She tries not to squirm under him and yet…she does.
“Eric,” she sounds breathless. “I ca-can’t—”
“You can,” he nods, brushing his lips against her cheek. “Give me another.”
She does. It’s so easy to manipulate her into it, so easy to get her to react to him. He burns the sight of her like this into his memory. No one else will ever see her like this. Only him.
“So pretty, aren’t you?”
She clenches again and Eric laughs. He pulls back just enough to pull her onto his lap. “Come on, Amelia. Think you can do better than last time?”
It takes a few moments as she blinks herself back into clarity. “Is that a challenge?”

It was one of those challenging days in the gym for her, when her training didn’t go as smooth as she wanted it to. She was exhausted and distracted, which was a horrible combination. Usually, she would’ve called it a day by now, but she promised her friend Jack that they’ll have a sparring session later.
Eric was close by, even though he had no real reason to be in the training room. He had no initiates to torture or mock, he finished his workout and everything was in order. But, he busied himself with anything, just so he could keep an eye on her and wait until she’s finished. The first few times it happened, she disliked it and got mad at him because she felt like he wanted to either babysit her or control her somehow, but Eric convinced her it wasn’t anything like that. What’s more, she realized he only wanted to see that she was safe. He offered a couple of times to be her sparring partner, but she refused, thinking that Eric will go easy on her. Eric told her multiple times that he didn’t need to go easy on her and that she had a fair shot of kicking his ass, adding a comment how that actually turns him on and makes him think she’s even hotter.
It was hard for Eric not to think about the way that other guys looked at her. He hated the fact that he couldn’t go up to someone who stared at her lustily and threaten them, just a little. They agreed to keep their relationship private, and while all the sneaking around made it exciting, it was hard for Eric to prevent himself from wringing someone’s neck when they flirted with his girlfriend.
Jack was also a Dauntless-born like she was and one of her oldest friends. She remained training with him instead of her own boyfriend because she was sure that he won’t let her win for any reason. Jack and she had this healthy competition going on, always trash-talking each other and pushing each other’s limits when they fought. She loved it. They kept score on how many sparring sessions each of them won against each other, and at the end of each month, the loser had to buy the winner’s drinks for one night.
Although now, when she was standing opposite Jack on the elevated floor of the ring, panting, tired and drenched in sweat, she was almost willing to give up and pay his drinks just so she would let her get to her bed. She managed to get a few good blows, but he did too, and she could feel pain on various parts of her body.
“Ready to wave the white flag yet, sweetie?” Jack teased her, his tone mocking which he knew very well how much it pissed her off.
She fumed. “Never, Jack-ass.”
With the mention of the nickname he despised, he rushed on her. It all happened so quickly; one moment she felt pain shooting from the middle of her body, then she fell on the hard, concrete floor. Jack was in a dominant position on top of her, ready to continue, but when he noticed she wasn’t fighting back, he stopped in an instant.
She was dizzy and disoriented, it felt like she blacked out for a couple of seconds. All she could see was a blurry Jack on top of her, calling out her name in a worried tone. Despite her feeling woozy, she wanted to sit up, immediately feeling Jack’s hands around her, helping her.
“Take it easy, okay?” Jack said softly, checking for any head injuries that may have been caused by the fall.
One of his hands were at the back of her head, his fingers tangled in her hair and checking if there’s any blood, while his other arm was around her waist, holding her steadily. She coughed, straining to breathe normally after she collapsed on the floor like that.
“You can stop touching my girl now.”, a low, threatening voice sounded behind Jack.
Although she couldn’t see who it was because Jack was blocking her view, she knew immediately who it was. And judging by the way Jack’s entire body froze in spot, he knew who the menacing voice belonged to as well.
Suddenly, Jack was pushed aside forcefully and Eric’s strong arms wrapped around her body. She was still dazed, but smiled a little when her boyfriend’s face appeared in front of her.
“Are you alright, darling?” Eric spoke softly, looking frantically around her body, estimating the damage, any wounds that needed to be taken care of.
She nodded, catching her breath finally.
“I’m okay.”, she rasped out weakly, but smiled.
“What the hell is wrong with you?!” Eric turned his attention to Jack straight away, sending death glares in his direction.
Jack was staring at the both of them with wide eyes beside them, not believing what he was seeing.
Eric was losing his mind with rage. “You could’ve hurt her! I’m gonna-“
“Eric.”, she called out his name as loud as she could muster at the moment.
He turned to look at her, concern filling his eyes again.
“It’s my fault.”, she said, looking at Jack with a smile. “Usually, I could’ve blocked it, but today I’m not feeling very well…”
“That doesn’t matter. He should’ve known better!” Eric shot daggers at Jack again.
“I’m really sorry! I…”, Jack held up his hands, looking from Eric to her, not knowing who should he apologize to first.
“It’s fine, Jack. Really.”, she reassured him, trying to get up on her feet. “I’m okay. Just need to rest.”
Eric huffed. “Take it easy.”
She ignored Eric’s fussing, standing up on wobbly legs, while his arms supported her.
“I’m really sorry. Let me know if you need help with anything.”, Jack offered, standing beside her.
“She won’t need anything from you.”, Eric spat out at him and she rolled her eyes.
“Don’t be so rude! It was an accident!” she reprimanded him and then turned to Jack. “Thank you, Jack. I’ll kick your ass next time.”
Jack seemed to relax a little at that, smiling at her. Without caring about any social etiquette, Eric led her away from Jack, his arm wrapped around her middle and supporting her weight. It was crazy how a scary-looking guy like Eric could be so soft with her.
“I can walk, you know?” she teased him, but he kept the frown on his face.
“I’m gonna make him regret this.”, Eric mumbled.
She stopped immediately, making Eric stop too, turning to face her fully.
“You’re not going to do anything; you hear me?” she said sternly. “This was my fault and you being jealous is not an issue you can punch your way out of. And certainly not by punching my friend.”
“Jealous?”, Eric snorted, folding his arms underneath his chest in a defensive manner. “I’m not jealous!”
“Okay, then you’re just crazy!”
“I’m trying to defend you!”
“You don’t need to!” she yelled back and then looked around them to see if anyone was listening at their screaming match, realizing how loud they were actually being.
Eric rolled his eyes. “I hate that guy.”
“Well, that guy is my friend. So you’re going to have to find a way to be civil.”, she was glaring at him now.
Stubbornly, she turned around and started to walk away. She managed to limp for two steps, her hand instantly going to her side because of the pain, before Eric enveloped her with his arm again and helped her.
“I’ll let him live, then.”, Eric concluded and she laughed slightly, hissing when she felt pain spread across her middle and then across other parts of her body.
They continued slowly moving in silence, with her leaning against his body as they walked and Eric holding her like their lives depended on it.
“Also…”, she cleared her throat. “Did you call me ‘your girl’ back there?”
Eric was silent for a moment before responding. “If you’re going to give me shit and make a speech how ‘my girl’ is insulting or controlling, then I-“
“No… No.”, she chuckled. “All good. It’s just that… I figured you don’t want anyone to know about us.”
Just then, they were passing by the mess hall, which was crowded with people as always. They received a few curious looks, seeing the state she was in, but also, seeing Eric practically carry her and be so gentle with her when helping her. It was a rare sight, seeing Eric act so caring… And like a normal human being.
“I don’t care anymore.”, Eric whispered in her ear, smiling slightly as he felt her shiver. “I want everyone to know that you’re my girl.”
She laughed heartily at his joke, not caring anymore that her whole body ached. Eric even kissed her forehead sweetly for good measure, earning a few jaw-drops from the people that knew them.
As they passed Four, he simply shook their head at them and mumbled under his breath. “I fucking knew it.”

10:56pm. The left hand side of the bed laid empty as the cold, lights of Chicago streamed through the drift in the curtains. I urged myself to relax, let Eric deal with my anger tomorrow. However much I wished, I knew it was never going to happen. The rumbling air vents by the building burned my ears, the stitches in the fixed bedsheets just rubbing that little too much against my skin. The yearning for Eric’s warm skin to brush against my own in the night; all of it just too much.
Down the hallway to our apartment, I could hear heavy boots bang against the metal. I hoped our neighbours were asleep, knowing his tired footsteps all too well. As expected the door swung open and shut behind with a quiet hatch of the lock.
“Oh,” was all Eric said as he turned around, “Didn’t think you’d still be up”
“Didn’t think your meeting with Jeanine would run this long” I smirked.
I stretched down the length of the bed, my chin resting on my hunched knees as I watched him hang his jacket over the back of a chair. I watched his tattoos move as he stretched his arms. The delicate forearm work was my favourite. The way it moved with his skin, nearly as loved as his biceps. I was forever thankful for his jacket. God knows how many girls would be hanging off his arms if they saw them.
“Jeanine want’s me to help get rid of some problems” Eric spoke first, dramatically leaning against the coffee table. His teeth shone with his smirk, he was never the humble type.
“What? A new group of Factionless angry?” I chuckled, pushing the bed sheet down to my feet.
Nights like these were so warm in Chicago it’s surprising anyone got any sleep at all. The gent grinned at the sight, his hand rubbing over his jawline.
“The Divergent problem, little more underground”
Instantly my cheek bones relaxed, my hands running cold. Despite the warm air, a shiver of goosebumps appeared over my arms. A Divergent problem? This had to be fake. There was not a single problem, a single riot, like the Factionless had caused. Why would Jeanine need to get rid of Divergents? Of me? It hardly made any sense.
“A Divergent problem? Since when?”
“Too much rumours, or data, are suggesting that theres too many” Eric sighed, kicking off his shoes in the corner, “They are a threat to the faction system. Jeanine want’s to get rid of them before it’s too late”
I stood up slowly, a breath hitching in my throat, “Too late?”
My eyes drifted to the photo of us on the wall. Our hands clasped together. My eyes squinted from how wide I was smiling. Next to me was Eric, a softness in his eyes he rarely wore, just staring at me. It was right after our tattoo session. A simple tattoo ring on our thighs. The only place we thought would be easy to hide from everyone else but each other. It seemed so simple.
Eric’s eyes shone in the moonlight as he made explosion sounds with his mouth. How could he be so relaxed about this? My life was in danger, the life we made. It took everything in my power not to break down. I could see it now. Eric lining us up, looking me in the eye and gone.
“How are you so fucking calm about this?” I sneered, “Killing Divergents for some raw data?”
Eric immediately stood back up, looking at me like I was a stiff or Factionless. Like I was a number. His smile was almost clinical as he stared off to the wall before looking back. Eric was unreadable.
“Those Divergents”, he huffed angrily, “are going to destroy Chicago if we don’t stop them. Do you want this city to burn, Y/N?”
I could see why he was a leader now. Squared shoulders, that deep authoritative voice like his word was fact. He knew what I was going to answer. Before this even begun, Eric had spun the truth so I’d agree whatever the cost. No wonder him and Jeanine got along so well.
“I’m Divergent”
Silence screamed throughout the apartment. Factionless shuffling on the streets below seemed to come directly outside. My heart pounded louder and louder, sweat beading on my hands like a fever. Instinctively, I eyed the door. Eric’s shoes were on the other side of the room. It only takes a few seconds for him to run, put on shoes and catch me if I got to the door in time. Flipping the table could work, buy me a few seconds. The Amity tester told me I would be safe there. It was on the other side of the city. Eric would catch me, he would always predict where I would go. But I’d have a few seconds head start with that table.
My foot inched slightly against the floorboards when he spoke up, “Babe, don’t flip the fucking table please. You know how it scratches the floor”
“Eric, Please I-”
He stood up quickly, storming towards the closet. A duffel bag thrown at my feet in haste along with a few clothes.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
He didn’t look back at me, just walking over to the kitchenette, “I have to get you out of here”
Carefully, I began putting the clothes into the bag. My eyes never left him and he drew a knife out of the drawer. Walking back to the corner, he slipped on his shoes and jacket. The bag was packed, hanging over my shoulder. Shakily, my hands trailed down my arm, trying to reconnect that this wasn’t some nightmare or fear sim.
He stopped before me, his large warm hand resting against my cheek. His eyes carefully glazed over my face. Every detail slowly absorbed in our silence. Eric’s face was so sharp and scary but this close, this warmth radiated from him. And not just the night heat. The softness of the curve of his lips, the gentle graze of his cheek bones. My fear was forgotten for the warmth of his smile, the love pouring of his skin like a heater. I just wanted to engulf him.
“I have get you safe” Eric hastily kissed my lips.
All that love soared through his lips and into mine. His hands grabbed at my hips, fingerprints burning through the fabric. My hands fell flush against his chest. Eric’s heart pounded like he just survived a fight.
He pushed away too soon for my liking, grabbing the bag from me and giving me the knife, “I know a place they won’t find you”
