I skipped first day to save $100 on a flight. I managed to find a group of people but we'll see how it goes I guess. They seem nice.
How to: What is the fastest integer division supporting division by zero no matter what the result is?
How to: What is the fastest integer division supporting division by zero no matter what the result is?
What is the fastest integer division supporting division by zero no matter what the result is?
Summary:
I’m looking for the fastest way to calculate
(int) x / (int) y
without getting an exception for y==0. Instead I just want an arbitrary result.
Background:
When coding image processing algorithms I often need to divide by an (accumulated) alpha value. The most simple variant is plain C code…

1, 24, 35!
1.Do you want a boyfriend or girlfriend?Ask me this every two minutes and I’m sure I’ll have a different answer each time. I don’t want a boyfriend just to have a boyfriend - I can tell you that much at least. I would love to have someone in my life that supports and challenges me at the same time. Someone who I can share my experiences with and wants to share their own with me. My big spoon/provider of the big spoon for the pudding when we can’t be bothered going to da clubz on the weekend. I think I want certain men (Yes, plural. I am a crush floozy) to be my boyfriend more than I want a boyfriend itself.
24.What ARE you looking forward to?SO MUCH. I am looking forward to seeing Yo Gabba Gabba LIVE next weekend. I am looking forward to MEETING A SPICE GIRL and Tim Minchin in a few weeks. I am looking forward to seeing him again. I am looking forward to pay day. I am looking forward to Europe in winter with my two best friends. I am looking forward to being a wife and a mother one day hopefully. I am looking forward to bed.
35.If you could move somewhere else, would you?YES. AND NO. In the immediate future, I am so keen to move out of home and not have to drive an hour to and from work every day. And to be in the hub of music and culture in my beautiful city. And be able to consume all the beautiful beverages that I have to decline at the booze filled events in my field of work.
But in terms of moving anywhere out of this city any time soon, I’m not so sure. For such a long time, we’re talking around half my life, I’ve dreamed of living in the UK while I’m still young and relatively free. I hate to curse that I have a job that I love so much but it means that I can’t leave this damned country for more than a month a year.
I also have such an incredible family that I couldn’t bear to leave for much longer than that anyway; the idea of missing out on my nieces and nephew growing up to become little humans and that they could forget me terrifies me more than most things in life.
YAY! I like talking about me me me. Click here if you want to know more about my absolutely fascinating self.
