Now this bitch proudly calls himself a faggot. He knew he was gay since he was young, and took full advantage of that in highschool. To say he was a slut would be an understatement. For highschool it was like he fucking lived in a porno, it was handjobs traded for homework, blowies for extra credit, and just straight banging in the locker room.

Though his life hardly avoided tragedy, he didn't know his dad and lived with his mom who critiqued his lifestyle as well as his appearance, leading to an eating disorder early on. Something he has grown out of, though he does occasionally forget to eat sometimes, but it has no greater purpose now beyond just simple forgetfulness.

As an adult, he works as a prostitute, and a male stripper, but he also does... other things for work. (Mafia) (are you sensing a pattern yet?) He also has a hard time having a serious romantic relationship, despite desiring one so very badly. He just has a hard time opening up to folks, and any time he's in a relationship he's usually the one to break it off first, before they get too close to him.

leoryu has a new outfit and i like messing around with posing tangle’s tail (tail map + more talk under cut)

drew over the sketch with this thang to keep track of what bits lead where - without shading it’s not as obvious in the final drawing, but i think it adds some integrity to the final image that it actually has a 3d path and isn’t BS’d

i’m still not 100% content with the redraw but i figure posting and taking joy in it even if it’s not my favorite thing i’ve drawn is better than letting it languish unseen, with no return for the effort put in. i especially like the subtler/softer lining i used in the 2022 one by using the sketch colored in/cleaned up - i only sometimes find it fun to do cleaned-up and refined lineart, usually with a more heavily shape-based style that works off the impact of the clear lines.

and allowing myself to draw however i think looks nice - even if it’s ‘cheaper’ or ‘lazier’ not to go for full lining and cleanup - is what matters. chasing the standards of someone you made up in your head that other people want you to be is never a good goal for your art, and recognizing your people-pleasing tendencies when they do that sort of thing to you and intentionally going easier on yourself is.. difficult, but certainly the better option to take.
