hey guys just making the general psa that if you cant access or afford hrt you should look into diy. its super safe, relatively cheap (especially compared to usa prices 💀💀) and is pretty easy to figure out.

Not even going to address the survivorship/selection bias of this. Yes, some trans people persevered after natal puberty. But some ended their lives, or didn't transition because of what natal puberty did to them, or became severely psychologically ill for the rest of their lives because of gender dysphoria. This is not helpful and is giving antipsych RFK Jr. I wish the 800 notes had told young trans women reading this about Reddit's R/TransDiy and the TransDIY FAQ, the DIY HRT directory, and how to convert your cash to Bitcoin to use for DIY HRT (most sellers use BTC). Trans women have the most to lose from being unable to transition young, and it irks me seeing so many none trans women RBing this vacuous post that is unhelpful to those going through severe gender dysphoria and mental health issues due to GOP bans/inaccessibility of hormones.

This is a message for american trans people in particular: If you haven't already learn how to DIY HRT, there are plenty of resources/guides online as well as suppliers. Learn to DIY and get yourself a stockpile of HRT and help others who want to know.
