I would bet that hip-hop music is one of the most influential genres of music out there, and that no other genre has had such a big effect on culture, style, fashion, and the way we produce music. I have been vainly searching for some DJ’s who use old speeches samples and old song (20's, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, stuff like that) samples in their remixes.
I really don’t even know how to search for this so I am asking my tumblr community to let me know if they know some?
