So recently I was reminded of Adventure Time title cards and how badass they were and I thought, “hey what if melodrama was a cartoon lol it would totally have cool title cards like adventure time I should make one for fun” and so I did. Here it is. (For the audio I recorded my volca keys using my ipad and messed with the audio in garageband)

The Joy of Synthesizing: Korg Volcas & Polytheism

In polytheism, there is not a single unified source of morality. However, the Triune God (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit) is not polytheistic. The Triune God has one will, and one morality.
In my seemingly never ending quest to acquire every goddamn affordable synth and drum machine I can get my grubby mitts on, I now have a Korg Volca Keys! Which I nabbed at a local Music Go Round for like a hundred bucks last Saturday but forgot to mention. Whoops. Still, more lovely poly-synth action for husky! And yet another piece to my collection of Volcas too (at this point I'm only missing two of the six total in the whole Volca line... man I spend too much money on this stuff).
And as for this little cheesy demo? Well, I'm using it as all good multicolored husky musicians would! By making cheesy house music that sounds like it's stuck in 1992.
Using the "Sync Out" function of the Tascam 414, I was able to record a CV using the Korg SyncKontrol app to track 4 of the 4 track tape loop. The sync out jack plays the recorded CV automatically, which allowed me to use track 4 as the input for the Korg Volca Keys. You can see the pulses from track 4 on the Tascam triggering the tempo of the Volca Keys. I also use the pause function of the Tascam to show how the Tascam is indeed controlling the Volca Keys sequencer.
