she loves raspberries.
she very rarely turns on light in her house. only goes by natural light.
has blonde hair and blue eyes, and the exact shade of blue was dorcas’s favorite color even before they met. she’s convinced it was fate. marlene laughs but (not so) secretly she loves it.
when pandora got made fun for her not typical jewelry, marlene started wearing it too. now her only “normal” jewelry is her family and wedding ring. her mother hates it.
changed her last name from mckinnon to meadowes in 1979 in every way but legally.
was the astronomy professor from 1977 - 1981.
calls her mum mother. she’s never called her mum or mom.
she never told her mother that she got married and her mother tried VERY hard to set her up with someone.
dorcas calls her mars and marlene calls her cassie.
her favorite colors were blue and yellow.
MUM FRIEND.
does not like red.
always thought dorcas was really pretty but thought it was just friendly thoughts (it wasn’t).
didn’t have many long-standing crushes growing up. only ever had like hallway crushes.
her first “real” crush was narcissa.
beater for the quidditch team from years 2 - 7
dorcas and her’s house is stock full of books. like, there are so many mountains of books.
james calls her a nerd any chance he gets.
had two brothers, matthew and michael.
dorcas and her were long standing academic rivals. all of their friends thought it was hilarious.
the sorting hat almost put her in slytherin but then eventually decided on ravenclaw.
was the first person to start clapping after sirius’s sorting because she knew how it felt when the entire Great Hall went quiet after your sorting.
she became an animagus in her sixth year. no, she didn’t do it illegally like some other people we could name. (*cough cough* the marauders *cough, cough*)
got 11 owls. barty held it above her head that he got one more than her.

One of the first entries I found, it’s pretty faded and with the date I figure this is some time during middle school. Must’ve been around the time we started. Year 1 and all that..
Hey Kacchan...
You’ve been acting pretty weird lately. Well... You’ve been acting like everyone else, I guess. I got that new All Might card we saw in the collectables shop in Ginza. I went all the way there right before school, they were holding it all night for me. I couldn’t believe that I finally have it! I tried to invite you over, but you told me that you were busy. That’s okay, I know that you have a lot of homework to do, sensei gives us a lot of it. Sometimes it seems really hard, but you always manage to finish very quickly. I want to finish just as fast too, then we’ll have time to hang out again!
Well... I asked you during lunch if you wanted to come over. You said that you were busy with your homework again. I took a trip to Harajuku because some of the girls were talking about an off-brand All Might hoodie they found. I didn’t find it, but I did see that you were there. You were with our other friends... You guys didn’t notice me when you walked by, even when I waved. But, I guess you finished all that homework- right, Kacchan? Then tomorrow you’ll come over for sure!
I’ve noticed this damn nerd addresses a lot of his journals to me. So that seems like it’s going to be a theme with these.
I barely remember any of the other stuff though... Guess that was the time where... Yeah.
