A Coming Out Story [A/B/O AU]
The Grand Prix Final had been an emotional rollercoaster for Yuri. He had broken Viktor's short program world record and won his first Grand Prix Final. He had also made his first real friend. Now, though, he was faced with going home. Viktor was coming back to competition, and he had mixed feelings about that. Part of him thought the old man should stay retired; on the other hand, he wanted a chance to prove that he was a winner in his own right - with or without Viktor in the lineup. He also had to deal with being separated from Beka.
It seemed a bit silly - they had only known each other for about a week. But, Otabek was still the best friend he had ever. He felt like he could tell him anything, and he felt better when they were together. Yuri wasn’t sure what all of that meant, exactly, but to him, it meant that he had a friend who finally understood him. He didn’t want to be separated from him. The idea of tomorrow coming, when they were both going to be headed home, was a bit depressing.
Yuri turned the corner of the floor in which Otabek’s room was in, and walked down to the fifth door on the left. The two of them decided not to waste time and were going to be hanging out tonight, ordering room service and whatever else they could of before they both had to go to bed for their respective, very long, flights tomorrow.
He was also debating about telling him something. Yuri was an Omega. He was coming to terms with it after presenting this summer - and having previously thought he was going to be Alpha - but he hadn’t told Beka. Of course, he had gotten Suppressants, so it wasn’t like he could smell him or anything. But, what if Beka didn’t like that he was an Omega? Some people still had rather strong feelings about Omegas, not all were pleasant. He was positive that Beka wasn’t one of those people, but he was nervous none the less.
Yuri reached Otabek’s room and knocked on the door. He had all night to decide whether he was going to tell Beka or not.
