Chase pulls Dino close, enjoying the warmth his hug brings in the cooling night, "It's nice to see you alive." She pulls back but doesn't let go of his hands,
"Can't get rid of me," Dino's eyes glance around the camp, quieter than usual, "Everyone not in yet? I can't see your guard dogs."
"They're…" There's a loud curse from Max that interrupts her. Looking over they can see Linus rush over and grab his hand gently, "Christian got sent on something else and Jett is out. For awhile."
"Dude," She watches Dino's brows furrow a bit, "Is it your parents?" A watery laugh escapes Chase's mouth as she shakes her head,
"This fucking prophecy. Apparently Wolly was a distraction and I'm pretty sure it's my fault Jett's cursed right now." Her hands are squeezed gently before Dino reaches up to ruffle her hair, cut shorter since last he's seen,
"Well, you have me until they come back. Because they will come back, it's only a matter of time."
"Yeah," Chase hopes he can't see the tears threatening to fall, "I hope so."

"No," Chase stares at the bandage he just wrapped around Dino's arm like it personally burned him, "It's fucking stupid they can just take him."
"You're pretty good at patching us up at least," Dino moves to link their hands with a squeeze, "You keep us together."
