You can always tell a theme park expansion is inching closer to reality when the trash cans start appearing.
At the Walt Disney Studios in Paris, currently undergoing its transformation into Disney Adventure World, the backstage area behind Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop has become a temporary holding zone for a new delivery of waste receptacles. As of September 2025, two distinct models have emerged.
First: deep blue cans adorned with an ornamental motif are destined for Adventure Way and Adventure Bay, all with the DLP trademark silver inlet flap.
Second: a brown variant slated for the World of Frozen. This model introduces a new design language not previously seen in the Frozen-themed areas of Tokyo DisneySea or Hong Kong Disneyland.
It's always exciting when new trash cans find a home!

“I don’t know what else I can say.” for dax and sirius! i miss ben barnes
Daxia yawned as she made her way down the stairs, rubbing her eye with the heel of her palm. Her eyebrows furrowed as she reached the bottom, catching sight of a figure standing alone in the room opposite.
“Sirius?” she asked as she made her way inside. He was standing in front of a large family tree, names and pictures decorating the wall connected by golden branches.
“There’s me,” he said, pointing up toward a blackened hole “She did that on my last night here.”
Daxia let out a sigh, stepping closer to him and linking her arm through his “I’m sorry you have to be here again,” she said, leaning her head against his shoulder.
“Do you know how many times you’ve said that to me since that night in the Shrieking Shack?” he asked with a chuckle, resting his cheek against her hair “I’m thinking of banning the word sorry.”
“I don’t know what else I can say,” Daxia said, squeezing his arm “I, we all, should have known better and I’ll never be able to tell you how so-”
He cut her off, pulling his arm from her grasp and stepping around to face her “Daxia, please,” he said, reaching over and gently placing his hands on her shoulders. A smile came to his face as he leaned down slightly so they were eye to eye “If you say sorry one more time I may just drop down dead.”
She rolled her eyes “I apologise,” she answered with a smirk before adding “I’ll work on it, I promise.”
“Good,” he said, letting her go and draping his arm around her shoulders “Andromeda has a matching one look,” he continued, stepping forward (pulling her with him) to show her where Andromeda’s name had also been blasted off the wall “So I’m not the only one in the club.”
“You should have meetings,” Daxia mused “The outcasts from the House of Black.”
“Or we could start a band…”
“No,” Daxia said, glaring to him from the corner of her eye. Her heart stuttered slightly when she noticed the wide, Sirius, grin stretching across his face. It had been a long, long time since she had seen it and it still managed to knock her off her feet.
They stood there for a couple more moments, his arm around her shoulders and hers around his waist before she patted his back “Come on,” she said, nodding toward the door “How about we make some pancakes?”

The Dumbo-like aerial spinning ride, Flying Carpets Over Agrabah, is located in the Toon Studio area of Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris. Hop on a magic carpet, soar around a genie lamp, go up-and-down, and then disembark.
This ride opened in 2002 as a clone of The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, which debuted in 2001 in Adventureland at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Not to be outdone, Tokyo DisneySea introduced their own version in 2011, named Jasmine’s Flying Carpets, in the Arabian Coast area.
In 2024, updated trash cans for this attraction were introduced. These new receptacles feature a light purple color with the standard uncolored inlet flap found on most Disneyland Paris Resort cans. They are adorned with a gold lamp icon, representing Aladdin's lamp, encircled by a blue border with yellow flourishes at the top and bottom. It's a delightful upgrade!
