Y'all, I got the absolute nicest gift last night from one of my players to celebrate our now two year campaign! Check it out!

They made me a dice box! (The lid can even be used as a rolling tray, but they hadn't considered that when they made it. Lol.) They used our Behind the Dice logo to make the top, then got everyone's signatures (blurred out for security and privacy), and engraved them and the campaign name and 2020 on the bottom! This is so cool! I can't wait to load it up and start rolling on it!

Ok, I need help with an encounter design. Basically I want my players to encounter a carnival or festival while they are traveling to their destination, and throughout the day weird things happen. By the end of it, it will be a tpk, and then reset in the morning and start over. A little like the groundhogs day loop.

The question I have is this, what causes the loop, how does every die, and how do they stop it? I'm thinking some kind of cursed artifact, but the how and why are still eluding me.

Working on setting up a stream game for behind the dice using my homebrew setting. If anyone would be interested, hit me up for information. I'm currently looking for roughly three players.
