Okay regarding it being forced I absolutely agree. Didn't tincan-stanee write a post that compared the similarities between the NPC model from Dream Maker Studio beta to TS's behaviors (from a few months ago)? It's an elaborately set-up to sell their games and the script is WRITTEN to hook our interests and make TS look so mysterious and *Super Sentient* (1/2)

there’s a chance that this could just be a ploy to increase interest, and it’s a p good one if we’re being honest. but at the end of the day it could just be a “look look look over here, look at this mysterious interesting thing”. i’m so willing to believe theres something there and in fact i encourage it for the sake of this franchise’s future but jesus it was not executed very well. nancy telescope’s weird little trip up was “””””endearing”””” at best confusing at worst and didn’t really deliver in terms of giving us the next bit to continue theorizing about ts at all. we have very little to go on which in the past has led to some interesting fanon interpretations, and if they at all wanted our interest to stray farther than a couple points of “what are they talking about” ----> “what is tablesetter” then they needed to make it ever so slightly less vague. i agree w/ u saying cassie shldve been the deliverer of info here as much as cassie’s voice grates on me, they’d prolly be less tight-lipped about whatever the fuck they wanted us to actually KNOW.
