A request for help making a DND Character playlist!
Hello! I'm making a character that is unlike the types of characters I usually play! Because of that I'm having some issues making a playlist for them to help me get a feel for them. Here's what I have so far!
She's an undead nature cleric with a vulture Bee motif! she was a wood elf, who was raised in a temple to the nature goddess. Her major inspiration is grace chastity from the starkid musicals and jane Prentiss from The Magnus Archives, with a more religious twist. She was a devoted acolyte who died trying to save their holy hives when her temple was attacked, and prayed that her sacrifice would save the bees. (her goddess's holy symbol) the goddess wanted to bring her back, but she resisted because she believed death was natural and only wanted the bees to live, but was forced to come back purely to get vengeance. She can't rest until she kills all the people who attacked her goddesses temple, and her body now acts as the bees hive with their honey being her source of magic. (Minor gore/body horror warning) She's still devoted, but because she didn't want to fome back, she came back wrong. The wounds that killed her healed partially, leaving her ribs and part of her skull exposed with bone connected to scar tissue, which has bees filled with honeycomb from the bees. (Body horror/gone done)
As for her personality she's very much a stereotypical elf cleric right up until she gets twisted. She seems very kind and loving, until you become her enemy and suddenly she seems very cruel and uncaring. She holds very little value for life, being undead herself, so she seems like you're average healer nature cleric until suddenly she's not. She will heal people if their still alive, or if they were killed for money, but if someone dies from a battle they choose to fight she won't revive them. Survival of the fittest but only in natural circumstances, so assassinations or killing for reasons outside of food or defense and such is enough to spur her to intervene.
So far the only songs I have for sure on her playlist is 'bury the bully' from nerdy prudes must die, and 'Abby' by mitski, 'Morto' by O terno, and 'animal cannibal' from possibly in Michigan. Everything else I keep adding then removing, but these are the few that stays consistently.
I've just never played a character like this before. Usually all my characters are charisma based, like Warlocks or sorcerers. Usually I'll play something with more explosive anger, or who is able to lawyer their way out of situations. But I want her to be more cold anger, and brutal killer hidden as a sunshine character. Very much a 'sunshine character being a villain' kinda trope. She's true neutral if that helpe at all.
