So I decided to make a dice tray. I don't really know much about them, and this decision was made on a whim when I stacked some wooden mushrooms on top of a wooden slab I had laying around. It looked cute, and I was enamoured. It did not help that I recently acquired a set of mushroom dice, which I love dearly.
Obviously, I didn't have enough mushrooms, so I went to a store further away that didn't have mushrooms, and then had to order them online, which was quite sad, as it meant I had to wait longer for mushrooms.
But here we are! With a very inconvenient 38 mushroom diameter, meaning I have 4 pointy mushrooms in a row later on.
Gutted.
Anyway. I set up my shrooms by sticky-tacking them down to some cardboard scraps and set up my little work station on the floor at the coffee table.
Using watered down white acrylic, I painted two coats over each mushroom to form a relatively uniform base for my next steps.
I'm very new to the idea of ttrpgs, but even if I never get to use this as a dice tray, it will be a nice project to keep me busy for a while. :)
Tomorrow, I will start by painting my six test mushrooms to see if I like what I have planned.
White Raven Patterns - D20 Dragon Dice Patterns
And finally the complete set of dragon dice cross stitches I made for my dnd party. There are actually 10 patterns in this set, but there are only 5 in my party so this is all I've made.
my collection of dnd stationary and such for Aeline! On the left I have a spellbook from Cantrips Media that I collaged the cover for, and then the last remaining character sheets that I made while I worked at the print shop, and of course on the right is her fancy notebook for all of my notes
Sneak peak for upcoming Halloween dice bags! 🎃 Found a lot of cute fabrics this year. Or I guess more stock piled them over the year. Sometimes I find the best ones in the middle of May. ☆*:.。.O(≧∇≦)O.。.:*☆
Pov: you're mentally still not over a show that ended a decade ago, but you're also really into ttrpg.
