I just love this (not my image). ** We have been watching a lot of Dora the Explorer recently and this morning my toddler led me on a full-fledged adventure based on the most recent episode we watched. ** Dora is a great way to introduce your kids to maps and adventures, which are both integral parts of any tabletop RPG. ** My three-year-old was so excited to lead the way on the adventure in which we had to find a boat and row over a river, hop like frogs on stepping stones across the mud, and find our ball at the volcano (but watch out, that volcano is about to explode!). ** My toddler calls the show “Dora’s ventures” (Dora’s Adventures). This is what I've been waiting for many many years! This week I got to share my passions with my two sets of godchildren. I played a Wild Sheep Chase on Thursday and Saturday and both sets of kids loved it! I was in a rush with Thursday kids and so the stuff was hastily printed in black and white. On Saturday, they got full colour A3 maps and (simplified) character sheets.
